Star Wars

Sha'ara

"Something else" I ask nervously. "I think we are kind of dancing around the subject here." I search Tawain's eyes for a reaction, but he only looks at me quizically, "but if we are on the same wavelength, I should tell you that.. umm... that is something I've never done before." How will he react? Will he think I'm stupid? God, what if he's not even talking about sex?

Tawain

Tawain was about to frown when the meaning of Sha'ara's words hit him at light speed. He could feel the heat return in his face, far more intensive as before.
"Oh. Er. Oh. You...haven't. Well er. Neither have I, um..."
Tawain cleared his throat, opened his mouth, closed it, and didnt manage to open it again.
There. Now You've done it, Mr.Foot-In-Your-Mouth!

Sha'ara

An uncomfortable silence washed over us for a moment.. then I began laughing nervously. Tawain looked at me like I'd hurt his pride so I tried to explain through my giggles, "I'm ... not.. laughing... at you... I'm .. umm.. well .. we are... both .. so af.. afraid of it... it seems... well.. not afraid.. well... ummmmm.. you know."

Tawain

"Um, yeah..."
Tawain's face felt hoter by the minutem and he thought his heart would leap to his throat any minute now. Gathering what self-control he still had--it was little enough--he forced a grin, turned to Sha'ara and said "Well...maybe we should just see...just see how things develop..." his voice faded as he looked into those deep, bright eyes, melted along with his self-control.
Throwing all caution to the winds, he hugged Sha'ara tightly and kissed her passionately.

Zen

As I walked through the base thinking of what I had just been told I walked by Madisons room. I walked up to the door and noticed it was open. I looked inside to see that Lana was sitting there next to Madison. I knocked on the door as I entered the room "Madison, I think we need to talk."

Sha'ara

Tawain's kiss spread warmth througout my body like a wildfire. Suddenly I felt feverish. I kissed him back eagerly wrapping my arms around his neck, holding him tightly to me.

Silver Dread

ooc:... so nice to be asked to join... [simpers]... [smiles]

ic:

5'4"
slender
short spikey silver hair
deep blue eyes
pale skin

Dressed in tight black leather pants suit with a zipper running down the front. She stands calmly beside the seated figure apon the throne. Her eyes are covered by a pair of slim shades that would hide her expression on the rare occassions that she revealed any emotion. The throne room looks out into the galaxy. Black night dotted with specks of light.

"Ganor has landed on the planet and has infiltrated my sweet." His voice was harsh and cold.
"Yes M'Lord" Silver replied calmly. Her voice was melodic... intriguing even... many had fallen under the hypnotic charm of her words alone.
A door opened with a quiet hiss and one of the captains entered nervously. "M'Lord... we have word..."
The Lord lifted his hand indicating he should enter. The platform that held his throne turned to face the approaching man. Silver looked at him through her shades as if she were inspecting a bug of some kind.

He knelt before the Lord. Silver stood... feet slightly apart and hands clasped behind her back as she watched. "M'Lord... word has it that there were survivors from the first planet attack... they seem to be preparing to abondon the planet itself."
"Yessss" The Lord replied calmly. His face hiden beneath the hooded robe he wore.
"Silver... my sweet..."
"Yes M'Lord?" She didn't waver.
"Tell me... do you think Ganor will be successful?"
She was silent for a moment. "He trained well... I see no reason for him to fail..."
"Unless?"
"Unless Luke Skywalker is lucky enough to sense him M'Lord..."
"Exactly..." the Lord sounded distinctly amused.
"Captain... return to your duties... I have the situation under control."

The captain visibly sighed with relief at being dismissed and left the throne room. The pale hand of the lord emerged from his robes as the throne turned again to face the vast blackness of space. The hand was young... and stronger than it seemed. He gripped the womans hand... causing her to stagger slightly towards him. "You... you alone I have trained personally... I have great visions of power for you my dear..."
"Yes M'Lord..." She kept her fear under control and concentrated on the pain of his hard hand gripping her wrist.
He released her suddenly. "Go and keep an eye on the captain... I fear he is going to be of little further use to us."
"I understand M'Lord..." She bowed elegantly before turning on her heel to leave the room.

Minutes later she approached the captain. All other members in the area hushed and parted before her. She rested a hand on the man's shoulder and felt his fear like it was a living breathing entity pulsing inside him. "Captain... how much longer until we have visual?"
"... n...n...not long... now..." he stuttered.
"The Lord is pleased with your work... I am here to reward you captain..." Her voice was silky smooth... she moved closer to him... and whispered in his ear... "I will make this as painless as possible..." she crooned... he gasped suddenly clutching his face... moaning he fell to his knees. She sighed as she watched him struggle with his life. She removed her sabre and instantly a red beam emerged. "Goodbye captain..." she smiled briefly before removing the man's head.

It rolled across the floor and hit someone's feet. "Take it away..." Silver indicated with a flick of her wrist. She approached the intricate control panel and leaned forward. She flicked a few switches and a map was revealed. She zoomed in on a location and pointed. "Take us there" She said to no one in particular. All heard her clear voice however and the death star began to change course for her prefered destination.

Silver Dread

OOC: Well, Silver Dread is certainly an evil siren. If she is Drakon's ex then it is slowly becoming easier to understand his difficulty in choosing sides...:)

ooc: [ggls]... why honey... was i suppossed to make it easy for you?... [winks]... i don't like losing... especially when i want something as bad as i want you... [smiles]

ic: Silver felt the Lord in her mind. "Silver contact Ganor if you must... I want you to keep an eye on him for me... "
"If he fails M'Lord?"
"Then my sweet... you may play with him... of course..."
Her eyes sparkled... "thank you M'Lord..."
"However," He continued... he cold voice penetrating... "I will be most displeased if his mission fails... you understand..."
She froze briefly... "I understand M'Lord... but..."
"Your little friend... what was his name?"
She was startled by his change of tact.
"M'Lord?"
"Come now my pet... you can't have forgotten already... sweet boy he was... promising future..."
"Drakon Exis M'Lord.."
"Yess... " His mind link left her. She stood with her jaw clenched as she remembered Drakon. Cocky... intense... yes and talented. She closed that memory off quickly. Why did the Dark Lord taunt her like this she fumed inwardly.
Her strong emotion causing the few troopers near her to figit uncomfortably. She glared at the one nearest her and he trembled. He yelped loudly enough to catch her attention. She quickly pulled away leaving him in one piece... barely. Under control again she stalked towards her quarters waiting for the death star to reach it's destination.

Luke Skywalker

As Luke meditated in his room he could feel nobody from the dark side on the planet. Either his theory that a spy could be on the planet was wrong or whoever is here was able to keep themselves hidden from him. For now.

Just then he could sense something...evil. Something so strong that he hasn't felt since he faced the Emperor himself. The feeling was strong, with hate, and thoughts of revenge. Luke's eyes flew open as he yelled "NNNNOOOOOO!!!!!"

Luke jumped up from his sitting position! Whatever was coming wasn't just a group of humans from the remains of the Empire. "It's the Sith!" muttered Luke as he quickly made up his mind on what he was going to do.

Luke gathered his things as he prepared to leave. His cadets were not ready to face such an evil and he wouldn't have enough time to prepare them. He quickly threw together a hologram message for Zen in case he didn't make it back then left it in his room with a timed alarm that would alert the others of it's presence if he didn't get back.

After he finished he left his room and headed down to the ships. He was going to break into the Death Star and destroy it before it had a chance to attack the students.

A foot in the grave...

Drakon saw Luke hurrying out of the training complex and was intrigued.

"Master Luke!" he called, tending to the girl in his arms, "Where are you off to in such a hurry?"

Luke walked over to him. "The situation is worse than I thought, Drakon. The new Death Star is being controlled by Sith. Leia is going to watch over the academy. I am on my way to stop them."

"You, Master Luke? Alone?"

The Jedi nodded.

"You intend to face an entire Imperial garrison, a Sith Horde, and who knows what else all by yourself?"

"The students are not ready."

"I am ready. My training is nearly complete -"

"You above all, are not ready. You are entirely too susceptible to the Dark Side. I will not risk losing you."

"Master you have no choice. You are planning suicide. You know I am one the top of the elite cadets."

"You are reckless. You must complete the training." Luke stopped. He had just echoed Yoda perfectly. Had he not have been reckless once, his sister and her husband would be dead today. Desperate times called for desperate measures.

"I know the Dark Side", said Drakon, "I was there, once. But that was long ago. I can do this."

"You can come. But be wary of the Dark Side. Do not pretend that it is not a part of your soul as it is a part of every soul. Understand this and you have the key to becoming a true Jedi. Meet me in the hangar when you are done tending to this girl."

"Yes, Master."

Drakon was silent as he watched Luke walk off. This would be the day he was tested. Part of his motive for going was self-destructive, the other part was selfish. If he would die then he would have peace. If he survived, then perhaps he will have chosen his place. He looked at the black glove over Luke's hand, a silent reminder that recklessness had its price. Fear is pointless. Nothing can ever be completely understood.

Little did he know how much he would be tested.

Occ: Ren...you didn't mess up, you just went a way I wasn't headed... :)

Katrina:

My eyes open, unsure of what has happened to me and where I am. The man who I had seen at the gate is wiping my brow with cool water. Before I regain full consciousness, I can feel his torment. I feel his struggle that lingers deep inside him. He speaks...I answer him, still weak from my ordeal, "a jedi is what I am destined to become. I was not sure until my arrival here. I did not understand until I saw you. There is something inside of me that has drawn me here". I regain my strength, yet remain in his arms, not afraid of him. I feel that he is a kindred spirit...but he is not at all like me. He is dark and cold. Perhaps that is how people perceive me. I have always kept to myself, never letting anyone in. Taking care of my parents was all I had known since I was young, and after they died, I let no one into my life. My thoughts were my companion.

He looks up, seeing something. He yells, "Master Luke"! Luke approaches us. My stomach tightens...I can't believe I am in the presence of the legend. He is scarred from battle and wears a glove over a hand. I had heard tales about how he lost it and now I see for myself that it is true. Everything I've ever heard about this great man is true! His goodness reaches my soul, I suddenly feel strong again. I am so humbled by him...my whole being wakens in his presence. I listen to their conversation, quickly becoming concerned about what I hear. Another Death Star? It can't be. They speak of the Dark Side...is that the struggle within this man? He says he was there once, long ago. I close my eyes and summon my thoughts. Yes, I feel his struggle is between dark and light, good and evil. As quicly as the thoughts come, they leave. They speak more of the Dark Side and a chill overcomes me....

Luke invites this man to go along to stop the Death Star and turns to leave for the hanger. "Master Luke" I call to him. "My name is Katrina Saffire. My parents were badly injured by the Imperial Forces and now they are dead. I wish to become a Jedi." We stand eye to eye for a moment. He says, "Katrina...I feel that something is with you. It is undeveloped but very strong. Examine your thoughts before you make any decisions." We have an unspoken understanding. He touches my shoulder with his hand and I place my hand on his. And with a feeling so frighteneing rising up in me I say, "Luke...be careful...I fear there will be betrayal set before you..." He squeezes my shoulder, winks and turns to leave us.

I turn to the man, Drakon is what Luke called him. Eyes locked on his, intensely asking him, "What are you going to do?"...

Tawain

ooc:
Indika, do we join in on the Death Star adventure or do we stay on the planet? Your choice.
ic:
Tawain hugged Sha'ara even tighter as she kissed him back, setting his whole body aflame.
How long this kiss went on who could say?...To Tawain it seemed an eternity, and not long enough, far from it.
Tawain's heart was beating so hard that his breath came out in ragged pants.
"I...I love you, Sha'ara."

Leave me alone...

Drakon was mute. It was rare than anyone asked him about himself, or even spoke to him. In fact, he preferred it that way. He had little to offer others in conversation. He was terrible at social interaction.

"I...am going to fight", he replied collecting himself.

"Now, is being a Jedi worth you risking your life?" she asked, echoing his own question to her.

Drakon was silent, staring deep into her eyes. His thoughts were so powerful that they usually created a cloud around him that scared others off. Kat could sense it, but why did she not fear it?

"I have no life to risk. Only a prison of torment. I have nothing to lose."

"Except your soul...to the Dark Side", she replied.

Soul? I have no soul. I am evil, and unredeemable, thought Drakon. I am a muderer.

"The Dark Side has no hold over me. Neither does the Light Side. There is no such thing as good and evil. I am my own Master. Had it not been for the 'Dark Side' your heart may have stopped just then."

Katrina seemed to be genuinely concerned for him. It was an alien feeling, and it made him uncomfortable.

"What pain is burrowed within you I wonder?" asked Kat.

Drakon just stared.

"I...must go. Don't think we are friends just because I saved you. I had pity, and that is all. I am sorry."

With that, Drakon turned on his heels, eager to escape the questions.

Katrina:

"You're sorry?" I ask as I march after him. Nobody walks away when I'm speaking...a pet peve of mine! "That's a strange emotion for one who portays himself as uncaring...".

He quickens his pace, trying to get away from my words. I halt, close my eyes and hollar "STOP"!! But I did not use words...my mind sent the message screaming across the distance between us. I open my eyes and see him stop dead in his tracks.

"How did I do that? Did you hear me?" I stand stunned at my new found power. A smile comes across my face. It must be something...or someone...here enabling my thoughts to turn to actions. "You did hear me...."

Farlo Truan

I felt more than a little light on my feet as I ran into the hanger bay, almost knocking over one of the engineers in my haste. The force was with me, though, and I was dodging him before I knew he was even in my way.
I vaulted high over an R2 astromech droid, that gave out a few quizzical bleeps and whistles as I did so, landing with a smooth tumble, and rolling up to my feet, as I picked up the pace the last few metres when the White Hawk came into my view. My mind barely registered that I'd never leapt that high in training. Even Sha'ara would have been impressed with that one.
The White Hawk was prepped by the time I6T9 had joined me - I was almost half way through a fourth system check, making sure everything was OK.
"Right, old gal" I said to her as she entered the cockpit, "lets take her up!"
"Yes, Master Farlo" I6T9 replied, stepping into an alcove nearby, to interface with the White Hawk's computer systems.
"I'm linked in now, Master Farlo" she said, and I flipped the communication system on.
"This is White Hawk to launch control... ready to launch!"
How many months had I been waiting to say that? - it felt great!
As soon as the affirmitive came through, I punched the last few systems hot.
There was a brief shudder as the engines powered up, then I pulled back the stick, easing my ship off the ground, for the first time.
I turned the White Hawk, smoothly, till she was pointing towards the wide hanger bay exit, and then I kicked the throttle up.
"OK, lets see what she can do, old gal" I said, as we flew clear of the hanger, and up into the evening air. I glanced to the left and saw the training ground a little way in the distance, and grinned.
"Lets give our friends down there just one quick flyby... before we go take a look up at the stars" I said, more to myself than I6T9, "let's make it nice and low old gal".
"Yes, Master Farlo" I6T9 said, "adjusting flight parameters for thirty metres altitude".
"Make that twenty five metres" I said, "and make sure those engine noise dampener's are on full, we don't want to deafen them".
"Yes, Master Farlo, they are working at full capacity now".
"Right, heeeeeeere I come!" I laughed, tipping the White Hawk into a dive...

Zen

I stand at the doorway as I look at the beautiful woman infront of me. I sigh as I tell her "Look Madison, I know that for whatever reason you dont like me. I dont know why and that is your business so I'm not going to try to find out why."

I paused as I looked up at her pretty face and into her eyes. I continued "I just want you to know that I realy like you, and that I would never do anything to hurt you or anyone on the base. Everyone here is the only family that I've ever known."

I stoped as I walked up to her and leaned up to her face "I just wanted you to know that Madison. Because I dont know if I will survive this attack since I would rather die then let the empire kill any of the cadets at this school."

I moved forword and gave her a kiss on the forehead as I finished "Take care of yourself Madison."

I stood up then waved goodbye to Lana "Later fuzzball."

I turned and began to leave the room.

Madison:

"Wait, don't go." She handed Lana a few things. "Take these to Leia please." Her furry little friend took the papers and waddled out of the room. Madison turned to Zen, but couldn't look him in the eye. "It's not that I don't like you. I do, I like you too much and that scares me. And true be known, the force scares me too. Sometimes I can feel it, way down deep, but I fight it. Just like I fight my feelings for you." She turned away from him.

She didn't see him walk up behind her, but when he slipped his arms around her waist, she didn't pull away. "You don't have to be afraid of the force or of me." his voice whispered softly in her ear. "Close your eyes and I'll show you."

Madison did as he asked.

Sha'ara

Sha'ara heard Tawain tell her that he loved her. Pulling away from him she looked into his eyes and saw that it was true. "I.. I love you too, Tawain." She kissed him again, just as she sensed movement to her right. Turning to see what it was, she saw Luke, running. To where, she didn't know, but she sensed an urgency and decided to follow. Tugging Tawain's arm to follow she took off through the trees after Master Luke.

ooc: Let's go... hope your Force holds out!!

Tawain

Tawain was startled. Why had Sha'ara suddenly broken into a run?
But then he saw him: Luke, running along with a woman and...Drakon!
Accelerating his pace, Tawain and Sha'ara cuaght up with them.
Luke stopped and turned a sharp gaze on them.
"Master...master Luke" Tawain managed, panting. Where are you...going?"

Luke Skywalker

Luke turned to see Taiwan and Sha'ara "We have important business that needs attending. We are going to try and meet the Death Star before it reaches the planet and destroy it!" Luke saw the looks in there faces as he continued "It has been discovered that the Sith are apart of the Death Star and the cadets are not ready for such a threat." Luke watched the looks on Taiwan and Sha'aras faces and had a feeling he knew what they were going to ask.

Tawain

Tawain was stunned at Luke's words, but as soon as he had heard them, he knew what he must do. He glanced at Sha'ara, who nodded--apparently she knew what was going threw his head. Ignoring Drakon, who stared a him and Sha'ara in an odd way, Tawain said
"Master Luke, we would like to come with you."
Luke did not look surprised, rather annoyed, although there was a glint in his eyes--pride? appraisal?
"No, Tawain. I will not take yet another two students with me. Especially not you, before I have found a way to stablize your control of the force."
"Master Luke, I think may have some idea--"
"I received your note. Tawain, there are Sith on the Death Star. Trying to fight with strong emotion, with anger, will doom us all--yourself most of all."

"I am aware of that. But what I mean was that I begin to understand the nature of my problem, and maybe I'll find another way. You said my potential is great, if I learn to use it, I could be of great help."
"If you learn to use it, Tawain. I will take no such risk. Taking these two is already more than I originally wanted. You and Sha'ara will go back to the base right now--and no word to anybody!"
Tawain took a deep breath.
"With all due respect, Master Luke, you'll have to force us."
If only Drakon would stop looking at him like that. It made him feel queasy. And yet...his eyes no longer seemed so cold, so evil...or at least there was something else, but what? It looked like...puzzlement...

Zen

Madison closed her eyes like I asked. I whispered into her ear "Trust me Madison and you wont be dissapointed."

I used the force to probe into her mind as I transfered us to a ballroom setting. The room was full of young and older couples talking as a band played in the background. But there was no sound except for Zen's voice as he asked her "So what do you think?"

Madison was dressed in a lovely white dress on one side of the ballroom as she looked over to the other side pass the other couples to see Zen dressed in a black tuxedo with a glass of whine.

"Is this real?" asked Madison as she walked towards Zen with a look of amazement on her face. Zen met her halfway as he handed her the glass "It's as real as you want it to be. Look at your glass." Madison looked down to see a Gemini flower in her hand where the glass once was.

Just then classic music filled the room as everyone began to dance. Madison smiled as Zen held her hand gently and asked "Would the lady care to dance?"

Madison told him "But isnt it kinda crowded?" Zen smiled at her "Not anymore it isnt."

Madison looked around to see that they were now alone with the band as the lights in the room dimed and the spotlight fell on them. Zen offered her his hand "No more excuses now. So what do you say?"

Madison wasnt reluctant this time as she took his hand "Let's dance."

The two danced for what seemed like an hour as they kept there eyes locked onto each other. Zen could tell he had grown feelings for her that were far more stronger then those he felt for any of the others at the base.

Zen then held Madison near him gently as he whispered to her "Madison, I feel things for you that I've never felt for anyone else that I've ever known. Actualy Madison, I think..."

Madison put her hand to his mouth as she told him "I know how you feel Zen. I think I feel the same way too." The two looked into each others eyes and without another word Zen leaned forword and softly kissed Madison on the lips.

After a minute they both opened there eyes to see they were now back in Madisons room.

Luke Skywalker

Luke sighed as he told them "Very well but you must be careful. This time it's the real thing not training."

With that Luke and the cadets headed out for a one hour walk which ended when they arrived at a secluded area. The others looked confused at first as Luke turned to them and asked "Are you all sure you want to come with me?"

He looked at each of there faces and could tell they would not be left behind. Luke nodded as he told them "Very well. Then let's get going. We have a date with a Death Star."

With that Luke pulled out a controller that had only one button on it. He pressed the button as the ground behind him opened up slowly as a platform hidden underneath rises to the surface as a hidden ship makes itself shown. Luke opened the side as he turned to the others "Everyone onboard. It's time."

Once everyone was on the ship they were off to there first mission...and probably the last.

Girls have cooties...

"Look, uh...Kat. This is serious. We are headed into battle with the Sith. I have no time for pleasantries. I don't think you should come", said Drakon, more than a bit perturbed by this nuisance of a girl hovering over him.

"Are you worried for me?" she asked coyly.

"No. I am not worried. I just don't want you jeopardizing the team's chances, specifically in regards to my life", he replied coldly, fidgeting a bit.

"Don't you mean your prison of torment?"

Drakon did not respond, and Kat continued:

"I will choose if I wish to fight, Sir. Thank you. And last I heard, you are just as much a danger to this mission as I am", said Kat, with a bit more conviction, knowing she had hit a nerve.

"Do you even have a light saber? Here. Take my blaster. I won't be using it."

Kat smiled at this offer, taking his weapon in her hand, but the gleam in her eyes did little to the stoic mask over Drakon.

"If you are going to come along, you should put yourself to use", he said, quickening his pace. He was incredibly frustrated. How could this pitiful fool of a girl get under my skin?

The other cadets were intrigued by his apparent caring, and he glared at them as always, sending vibes to keep them at bay. Stupid cadets.
