Star Wars

Sha'ara

Blushing fiercely and pushing her long hair off her face, Sha'ara said, "Well, it would get in the way during training I would think." Realizing that Tawain had offered her a drink, she said, "Yes, do you have any juice?" Looking around his room Sha'ara noticed that Tawain had picked up the clutter. Interesting.

Sha'ara sat on his bed and waited for her drink, making small talk as she sat there. "So, have you seen Farlo's White Hawk? He's come a long way with it... made it really sleek.... you should check it out if you get the chance." Tawain reappears with her drink. She grins at him, "My god... I neve realized how gorgeous he truly is."

ooc: I'm supertired, so if I don't respond it's because I fell asleep on my keyboard. ;-)

OOC

Hey is Tawain getting drinks or putting on an old Barry White CD? LOL!!!

ooc

yes, I think I'll soon sign off myself.
Uh, but...was that last remark a thought, or were you talking about Farlo?

OOC

Sha'ara was making small talk about Farlo's Fighter.. the White Hawk.

OOC: Geez!!

Aaack!!! That was her thoughts about Tawain.. "the truly gorgeous thing." NOT about Farlo. Sorry!

Tawain

ooc: Phew, having that misunderstanding out of the way makes me feeling really relieved. ;)

ic:
"Ah yes...a wonderful ship. Farlo certainly knows his mechanics. I'll wager he could outfly most of our X-wings."
Tawain pours himself a glass of cider and raises it in a toast.
"To us", he says, grinning.

Zen

As I ran threw the training field I saw Madison walking my way with a look of anger on her face. I run up to her "Madison, look I'm sorry that I didnt show up but something came up that I needed to attend too."

She looked at me with a mixture of anger and nervousness "I'm sure you had alot of things to do. But dont worry I finished alot already WITHOUT your help and now Luke wants to meet with me so if you'll excuse me." She walked right pass me and towards the others.

I stood there thinking 'Well atleast she's talking to me now' when I heard a voice behind me "Oh your a real smooth worker huh Zen?" I turned to see Drakon as he threw me a grin as he walked pass me.

I stood there feeling realy bad about what happened with Madison. For some reason all I could think of was how I could show her how sorry I was for not being there for her. I walked around the outside for awhile when I remembered that Madison liked this special type of flowers that only grew in the tar'gan forest.

The problem was that those flowers were VERY hard to get because the tar'gan forest was also the home of the creature called 'Xtro'. Nobody has ever seen it before because it would never let them leave alive.

It was dangerous but I had to show Madison how sorry I was so I grabed my sabre and took the necessary transportation to the area.

Once there I moved with great speed and stealth threw the forest. It was a very beautiful place but not many animals were there. Most likely Xtro had made more then a few animals in the tar'gan forest it's meal. Despite that there were a few animals that made there usual noises that we humans couldnt understand.

After about an hour of searching the huge forest I saw them. A huge batch that was right for the taking. As I slowly approached them I stoped as I heard a distinct sound! I looked around at the total silence that was the forest.

I slowly reached for my sabre when right behind me came a roar as I jumped out of the way barely escaping a claw to the face! As I roll to the other side I look back to see the creature only known as Xtro charging at me!

The beast moved on four legs and had two arms with 3 fingers, each with a claw, on all six limbs. It was covered in brown fur and had sharp razorsharp teeth and the head somewhat resembling a Rancors.

It moved at me with incredible speed as it jumped with the claws on it's hands reaching for my face! I leap out of the way and into a nearby tree.

I try to reason with it "Look I mean you no harm! I just came for those flowers over there and that's it!"

Before I could say anymore it quickly climbed the tree like a cat as it went for my legs.

I jump over to the next tree then give it a final warning "I don't wish to harm you but I will defend myself if you continue this attack!"

Before I knew what was happening it leaped from it's tree to mine and was ontop of me as we both came crashing to the floor! I tried to kick it off but it's strength was too great! It clawed at my body with it's feet while it's hands had me pined down! I used the force to push it off of me and toss it against a tree but as soon as it hit the tree it came charging back at me! I had no choice. It was going to kill me before it would let me leave! I drew out my sabre and with one quick thrust I sliced off the Xtro's head from it's body! The creature fell to the floor as it died a quick merciful death.

I stood there for awhile as I could feel my blood from the creatures attack under my uniform. I then walked over to the flowers that I had came for and took more then enough to fill a vase. I went back to my transport with the flowers as I head home.

After I arrive I put the flowers into a vase with a card from me as I walk to her room. I open it and look inside. There was nobody here so she must have still been with the others. I put the vase full of flowers with my card of apology on her desk as I leave to return to my room.

As I enter I look myself in the mirror to see the left side of my face had a nasty scratch on it. I then looked myself over at all of the cuts that were on my body. I needed to bandage up those wounds before I rejoined the others.

As I sat there on my bed bandaging myself up I thought to myself "Why did I do such a dangerous thing like that?" Then I thought of how happy Madison would be when she finds those flowers and that was reason enough for me.

Restless...

Drakon traversed the Academy back and forth that afternoon well into dusk. He was unsettled, as would frequently occur. Although he had an exceptional control of the Force, his emotions were something else. He could be a cold, calculating machine by day, in the presence of others, but alone he would fall victim to his demons.

Drakon possessed a turbulent soul. It frightened him to know that even it was subject to the whims of a higher power. Fate carves our paths before we ever walk them, he thought. Who could say whether the Dark Side would swallow him? Who could say he did not want it to? Certainly not he.

The dark cadet watched as a small bird sang into the night. He concentrated on that bird, raising his hand to it. The bird became silent, and began flapping its wings violently, but to no avail. Slowly, Drakon closed his fingers, and the bird began to squawk ugly noises as it choked. He was using the Force like a vice on the small creature's esophagus, bringing it near death, when suddenly he saw himself from outside of his body, and he stopped. The little bird cooed and coughed, heaving. It survived.

"What is this contempt that resides within me?"

Tears were streaming down his cheeks, but he could not attach them to anything inside. Drakon felt hollow. He took his saber in his hand and raised it under his chin, his thumb resting precariously on the activator switch. Just a flick of the switch could end this torment. No more questions about Light and Dark Sides. Just peace.

Drakon held it there for a short while, in thought, until finally he released it and it dropped to the grass. Coward.

Fear leads to anger. Drakon's greatest fear was suicide. A fear which he played out over and over in his mind in his fight for control of his own destiny. This was the fuel of his anger. Only a tiny, flickering desire kept him from plummeting into the abyss. Something inside him knew that there was a purpose to life, but nothing in his experience ever proved it. He rested against the tree, and it was not long before he fell asleep.

The soft chirping of the bird woke him shortly after and he looked up. Drakon knew that these were moments that made most people smile, but his lip did not even quiver. He felt a certain jealousy for those to whom happiness came freely and readily, at least in his eyes. This was why he was a loner.

Cheers!

So many thanks! Just happy to be a part of it all. You can't have a "villain" without some good guys, though. This is just so much fun with all you guys here...

OOC to Kepic...

Also, to Kepic, I didn't say anything about turning, I just think Drakon needs a friend, is all. I figure Farlo's history makes him a good candidate. Drakon doesn't want to turn anyone, at least not yet, since he still doesn't even know where he should turn...

Madison:

It was late when she made her way back to her room. Such a long day, but it had been necessary. The defenses were stronger than ever and they were ready for the death star. Her door opened silently and she flicked on the light. Her breath stopped. Sitting in her room was a large vase filled with at least two dozen Gemini Roses. She touched the delicate blue petals in aw. No one had ever given her flowers before, and especially not these. Someone had gone to a lot of trouble just for her. She picked up the card.

I'm sorry, Zen.

Madison was stunned. Why would he do this? Giving her flowers was not worth risking his life over, and she was going to tell him so. She was out of her room in a flash and standing at his door before she knew what she was doing.

"Come in."

She stepped forward as the door slide open. Zen was sitting on his bed. Madison let out a small gasp. His chest was bare and it was covered in scratches. There was a large gash across his left side and another along his cheek. He was in the process of cleaning and bandaging. Madison stepped forward and took the cloth from his hands. She started what he had started as she scolded him. "Of all the stupid, idiotic things. You could have been killed, Jedi or not. Flowers are not worth you life. Do you hear me?!" In her wrath she forgot that he intimadated her, and that she carried around a fear of him. She continued cleaning and bandaging, not noticing the smile on his face.

Uh....WAY TOO FAST FOR ME

Wow...you guys really pumped this stuff out! I can't hang with you big dogs...I'm going to go sit on the porch....LOL. Have fun!!

Farlo Truan

"Try the next one, Farlo" Luke told me.
I sat down in front of the next silvery sphere, about half a metre in diameter, that rested in a stand of a similar silvery metal. They were used by us students for practicing our powers over manipulation of objects - levitation, telikinesis. We were never allowed to test the weight of them physically, some of the smaller might actualler be heavier. Size was more difficult barrier to overcome than mere weight.
They were always justs ball's to me before. Now their shape alluded to something else.
Was telling us about another Death Star right?
Such a threat easily frightened me, and I knew fear was part of the Dark side of the force.
Maybe it's some test, to see how our training will progress under such a bleak shadow?
This felt a reasonable answer, likely even, but it didn't completely my fear. I could feel it lurking, at the back of my mind... waiting. The Dark side was, for all its evil, patient.
I relaxed, putting aside those thoughts, and concentrated on the ball.
After a few moments, I felt the force beginning to flow through me, and the ball began to lift at last.
A few moments later, and it dropped back into its stand again with a metallic clatter. It had barely risen a couple of centimetres. Very patient. I thought for a moment I heard a laugh, in the recesses of my mind.
"I'm sorry, Master Luke", I said, standing, "I can't seem to concentrate".
I wanted to tell him why... but, in front of the other students, would my words reinforce their own probable fear? I couldn't do that.
"That's all right, Farlo, you did well today".
I smile, and nod. Yes, despite my reservations, that was the furthest I'd managed to get along the row of spheres. Eighth out of ten. I hadn't lifted it far, but it had lifted, nonetheless.
I returned to my quarters, and flung myself down on my bed.
"Master Farlo?"
I looked up to see I6T9 standing in the doorway.
"I think I've got the engines on-"
"Yes!" I said, jumping up again, "all right, old gal! Let's see if we can go get a flight launch permit..."
After going to the hanger, I checked the White Hawk's systems. Everything seemed OK.
Then I took a detour through the mess hall on the way back from the flight control room. I'd been giving a launch permit!
"Hey guys, I'm going to take the White Hawk up!" I half-shouted into the mess hall, with a wide grin, "anyone want to watch her maiden flight? Or come up with me, there's room for one more!"

Zen

I smiled as she helped clean my wounds "Why Madison, I didn't know you cared."

She looked up at me "It's just that you shouldnt have risked you life just for some flowers."

I sat there for a moment before I corrected her "I didnt do what I did for some flowers, I did it...for you."

She stoped what she was doing and kept still for a few moments. I wondered if I might have offended her in anyway. Just then she looked up into my eyes and for the first time since I've known her she didn't look at me with fear or anger.

Sha'ara

I took the juice Tawain offered. "To us." he said as a toast. "To us, I repeated." As we each drank from our glasses I ventured a glance in his direction. He was looking at me intently and I wondered what was going on in his head. I couldn't seem to pull my eyes away from his ... my heart felt as if it might leap from my chest. "So..." I began slowly..."what did you have in mind for tonight?"

Tawain

Tawain looked deep into Sha'ara's turquoise eyes. He felt himself drawn to her, drowning in her eyes...
He gave a start as he realized she had just spoken.
"I...er, what? Oh. Well, I had thought of a little exploration."
As Sha'ara gave him a puzzled look, he explained:
"You know Jedi Temple right next to the base? The infrared droids have finally finished to map the inside."
With that he flourished a small protable screen, which Sha'ara recognized as an electronic map.
"Until now, Luke did not want anyone enter the temple, because it is so huge that one might easily get lost there. But with this map, we'll be able to find our way without any problems. Think of the things that must be in there! Ancient Jedi artifacts. And we might be the first to see them!"

Hermit...

OOC: That sounds good, but I think we should alert newcomers that we don't really move so fast together, just the individual couples. When in battle we will probably be at a more reasonable pace, and the interactions between everyone don't always affect the main plot. Perhaps a synopsis in the initial OOC thread or a new thread would help things.

IC: Drakon ate outside. He never ate in the mess hall with all the people who feared or hated him. I have no tolerance for their childish emotions, he thought to himself, though deep inside a part of him was lonely. But he did not recognize the 'needy' part of himself. To him the end of desire was the end of pain.

Occasionally, he entered the mess hall, for some bullying antics, but not today. Drakon did, however, notice Farlo running around the academy. Someone is rather cheery today, he thought.

OOC Comment....

In a wierd way, Drakon Exis is the character that feels closest to my heart. This is not to say that I am 'villainous' or suicidal, but I do have my darkness, as do we all, and this character seems to be a very faithful expression of that darkness. Also, being bipolar makes my darkness that much more dangerous. Drakon's conflicts mirror my conflicts. So thank you for supporting his treacherous ways:). Perhaps through him I will be able to do some internal healing...

OOC: Pooh would like to be a part of this little charade. I didn't visit this before because I rarely enter threads if they are over 5 pages, but Renegade, I would love to be the sith student if that it all right. Like they say, there is always 2...

OOC: Excellent.
IC:
Ganor sat silently, a few feet off the ground. His eyes were closed, he kept his hands tightly folded against each other.
The light saber, a profusive red, was circling about him. In a very calm and rational motion. He smiled as he felt it, waving it's way about him. He would make it dive and dodge, moving it in and out. Ganor laughed.
He felt the presence before it was in the room, a simple soldier coming to deliver him a message.
Ganor smiled, keeping his eyes closed. The man came in, then stopped as the light saber came within inches of his throat. He didn't move, and neither did the saber.
Ganor slowly descanded until he could stand.
"How does it feel?" he asked, an evil laugh followed.
"Please, don't kill me, I only have a message."
Ganor turned toowards him, his cloak faded after him, "I asked you a question. How does it feel that in 10 seconds you will die."
The soldier let out a sob, as a tear ran down his cheek. Ganor merely laughed harder. He then grabbed the light saber, putting it away.
"Dath Mask wants to..."
Ganor used the force to choke his neck. He squeezed ever so slightly, a little more a little more. The man was making a pitiful choking noise. Not good enough for death, yet.
He let go, "I know of the message, lave now befor I decide to kill you."
He ran, not looking back once. An evil grin spread across his mouth. Ganor loved play time.
He quickly made his way to his master's quarters.
"Yes master."
Dark Mask wass looking out a window, somewhere beyond the stars. A deep meditation that the Sith's used. Ganor had not learned this yet, but in due time, everything in due time.
"Look out there. What do you feel?"
Ganor peered out, let his mind peer out. He could feel tiny planet's. ones where life merely scattered about. They could easily take over any one of these, Ganor didn't know why they were going to some far off corner of the...
He felt it, "Jedi?"
Mask nodded, "What else?"
His mind worked on the small planet. It was over a week's jounrey for the death star, but for him, merely a thought away.
"Luke. Skywalker is there... and he is training," Ganor laughed, "He is training pathetic weaklings in the force..." Ganor peered even further, "Only Luke and one has mastered enough to be worthy of us."
Mask nodded again, "Very good, one more thing..."
Ganor let his mind, let his force peer upon the planet. He closed out to everything except the...
"There is a second one. He is scared, but powerful. He would make a great addition to the Sith. He is weak, scared, and above all looking for something in life. We could turn him..."
"Very good Ganor," Mask smiled approvingly.
"So, what is your bidding master (always wanted to use that line)?" Ganor asked.
Darth Sith opened his mouth.... (leave it up to you)

Darth Mask

IC: Darth Mask ordered Ganor "Take a small ship down there. It will reach them faster then we will. I want you to make contact with the second one and see if he could be turned by us. But stay clear of Luke. He would be able to detect who you truly are. Now go."

Ganor kneeled to his master "As you wish my lord." Then left for the ship leaving his master to himself.

Darth Mask stood there with nothing but revenge on his mind. Luke Skywalker would pay for killing Emperor Palpatine. The siths rule over the galaxy would not end like that. This was going to be it.

Either the New Republic would die or he would take as many of them as he could with him to hell.
