Alright, I think it's time for my Grand Return. I haven't seen a single shred of Star Wars Lore on here, so I think it's time I become the trend-setter.

Star Wars: The Great War OOC[/U][/B]

The year, 10000 BBY. Before the Height of the Old Republic, back when every colony and every system fought over their territories. Back when the Jedi Order had un-rivaled authority over the Galaxy. Back when the Sith Army decided to invade.

You guessed it folks. Jedi vs. Sith? Cliche? Yup. Any less awesome? Not a chance in hell. I'm giving you guys free-reign. I'll be making a few starter-points, but other then that, the sky's the limit.

This is more of an Intrest Guage than anything. Everything is up for change, up for grabs, up for input. Let me know guys.

An intimate knowledge of Star Wars isn't nessecairly a MUST, but it would most definitely be in your best intrest. If not, wookiepedia is your friend.

Oh, and there have been Star Wars threads in the past. They've kinda faded before they really got going. In fact, I've got a SW thread that has gone to sleep for a bit, mostly due to the fact that I'm currently busy as hell in RL.

This is, the one and only, build-your-own story Star Wars ORP! So, you're wondering where do we start? Who are we? Why? Well, here are your answers.

Setting: anywhere in the Star Wars universe you like. It is 10,000 BBY. We are in the midsts of a great Jedi vs. Sith war. You want in on the war? Be one of those classes. Innocent merchant who gets drawn in? Do it. Do whatever it is you please.

I will provide no cut-and-dry template. I'll go with a traditional sign-up, in case someone wants to see it. But if you would rather write a few paragraphs which answer all the relevant questions, then by all means.

So, without further ado, the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Name: Darth Destinus
Alternate title: Sith'ari
Species: Zabrak
Gender: Male
Alignment: Sith
Weapon: Dual sided lightsaber, red.

Bio: Darth Destinus had long ago forgotten his age, his name, his identity. All that mattered was power. When he was first introduced to the order of the Sith, they were weak. Scattered. Broken. He made them strong, whole.

His impressive size belied his sleek agility, but strongly suggested his brute strength. His mastery of the saber was only surpassed by his Mastery of the Force. He considered himself the ultimate warrior. For the only reason being that, well, he was. His arrogance knew no bounds, nor his tolerance of failure. His people weren't loyal, they were afraid.

It was he who instigated the war with the Jedi. He who invaded their arm of the galaxy. He, who had lost his apprentice. Blinded by rage, driven by fear, fueled by hatred, he would have his revenge. And he wouldn't die trying.

Name: Tal Varsus
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Alignment: Jedi
Weapon: Lightsaber (blue)

Native to Coruscant, Tal Varsus was introduced to the Jedi Temple as a small child, when his Force powers became evident when he reached across the table for his bottle of blue milk.

Varsus grew up a Jedi, earning the title of Knight when he was 17, and then attaining the rank of Master on his 30th birthday. He currently sits on the Jedi Council. At this time, he does not have a Padawan.

Varsus considers himself a Knight of the Code, following and teaching strict adherence to the values the Jedi hold most sacred. He is often considered a "go to" member of the Jedi order when a question of morality or purpose arises.

Varsus excels at physical combat, both armed and unarmed, and is one of the chief lightsaber instructors for the Order, teaching the styles of Soresu, Ataru, and Djem So.

He usually wears the brown and tan robes commonly associated with Jedi, and he wears his brown hair long and pulled back into a tail. He has gray-blue eyes that look through a person, and a small scar on the left side of his cheek.

Master Varsus's Force powers are fully developed in the basics (telepathy, telekinesis, illusions, etc.), but he has also mastered a technique of Force projection, allowing his Force presence to be in locations where his physical body is not. While doing this he can see and hear things, but he can also be detected by another Force user, as he has not learned to mask this Force projected presence the way one can mask their physical Force presence.

Name: Darth Evarice

Alternate title: Skar

Species: Human

Age: 42

Gender: Male

Alignment: Sith

Weapon: Curved hilt Lightsaber, red.

Appearance: 6 ft tall, with a lean build. Pale skin. He has long dark hair that starts as a widow's peak. Yellow piercing eyes.

There is a scar running down the side of his face, across his forehead and over his left cheek.

He wears an eye patch over his left eye.


Bio: Skar was born to a noble family on the small planet of Edoon. He grew up spoiled and expecting the finer things in life. Once he was shown to have knowledge in the force, it did not take Skar long to use this to his advantage. He quickly joined the military, moving up in rank based solely off bribing, blackmailing and "suggesting" to his superior officers what should be done with him.

He took over his home planet by the time he was 18.

Darth Obsin took note of him and made him submit as an apprentice. At the time Skar felt this is where he needed to focus his learning. He was a quick learner, but already thought some parts of the force... such as the use in lightsaber duels, was beneath him.

Skar excelled at the Dark arts of manipulation and deception. Most of the duels he fought were with wits and words, not laser swords.

He once killed a jedi assasin without every having drawn his saber.

Skar did not take on the name Darth Evarice until he killed his master. Skar grew in power and thought he could leave his master as a scared child lost in his own mind for all of eternity, but apparently Obsin had been preparing for such a mental attack and had been training his defenses in case this happened.

So, Skar drew his lightsaber... the only time in his life that he fought was in a deal to the deal with his own master. He won, but not without the loss of his left eye and a jagged scar running down his face.

Evarice could have easily just illusioned himself to look normal, or sought healing for such a wound, but he chose neither. He kept the wounds of his battle, wearing them proudly.

It was after this day that he realized he needed an apprentice. Someone he could teach, but also someone who could help in case he had to fight against Jedi or other Sith. His skills with the lightsaber are far from superior. He took a young child named Tamina and is currently teaching her. She has grown strong in the force, which both worries and pleases Evarice at the same time.

He was one of the first to join Destinus in the Sith Alliance of war.

I'm pulling out a character I've used before. The concept behind him is fairly universal in Star Wars, so he can fit in any point in time. However, let it be known that the bio I'm posting is not the true bio for this character. That is something that must be revealed in character. Also, he's probably not going to do much interacting with others for a bit, considering that I'm busy as hell with RL at the moment and don't want to hold up the story.


Name: Primary alias - Jodo Galak

Age: 30

Sex: M

Race: Human

Race Attributes:

Occupation: Rumored Crime Lord

Appearance: Bald head, mustache-goatee, scar cutting diagonally towards the nose across the right eye. About 6 feet (2 meters) tall, 200lbs (90kg). Lean and dignified.

Weapons: None known

Character Background:
Very few hard facts are known about the one called Jodo Galak, but rumors and legends abound, many of them contradictory. One consistent rumor is that he is a crime lord with power and influence that rivals that of the Hutts. He has his hands in everything criminal and most things legal. His name is known throughout the criminal underworld, often spoken in frightened, reverent whispers. He is also rumored to have facilitated the rise and fall of many planetary governments, but nothing is known for sure. What is known is that those who have contact with him, often end up dead shortly after.

No one knows for sure how or when Jodo Galak came into power, but it is told that he gained his power by infiltrating criminal organizations and taking their assets after destroying them from the inside. Where he operates from is unknown, but there have been sightings of him from Coruscant to the Outer Rim. What images of him that do exist vary greatly in race, from Duros to Niktos, from Twi’Leks to Rodian, and everything in between.

The truth about the one called Jodo Galak, however, is perhaps the galaxy’s best kept secret and the one least suspected.

Name: Gavriel Yustice

Alternate title:

Species: Human

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Alignment: Jedi

Weapon: Lightsaber, silver. For backup he carries another Lightsaber with a blue blade. The two sabers' hilts have been modified so that they can fit together to form a dual bladed saber.

Appearance: 6'4", 260lbs, blue eyes, brown hair, powerful build without looking too muscular


Bio: Gavriel's powers manifested themselves later on in life, though they have been dormant for very long, it was shown that his connection with the force was second only to the great masters, but his lack of concentration and aggressiveness made him nothing more than a mediocre student.

He achieved his Jedi Knight status shortly after turning 21 and yet he still strives to become better, so that he can find peace and an answer to his aggressive nature. Of course he excelled in the aggressive and powerful light saber techniques, he also studied double bladed light saber combat, Jar'Kai, but the field in which he excels is Juyo/Vaapad. This seems to trouble many of the Jedi masters as the path to the Dark Side leads easily through the Way of the Vornskr.

Though aggressive, Gavriel have been shown to be compassionate and caring as well to those who suffer or are in need. His choice of being a Jedi Guardian came as no surprise as it was as close to being a soldier as he could get. Gavriel is very direct and will not use flowery speech or lies to tell what he thinks.

I was just about to say that Jodo could use a lackey but then I remembered that I had said he wouldn't do much interacting with the others, at least for now. However, with his supposed power and influence, I would think that he could influence some events that would involve and/or concern the other characters.
