I am a star wars fanatic and am putting out feelers to see if anyone else would like a star wars thread. If there is interest, then we can talk about time, place, and so forth.

Well the gist
without ruining the book
there's a group of renegade storm troopers who fight their own little war against the empire.
My idea was to have a group of former imperials who don't really want to join the rebel alliance, defect on some small backwater world, and think of a way to hurt the empire on their own.

hmm, sounds interesting, I know some of the books I have read the jedi are completly gone except for the characters involved in the main storyline, and am just curious if I'd be needing to play a storm trooper to be involved. Storm troopers are cool and all, but Jedi are awesome, lol, I'l play either, just wondering.

Another option would be to play a time at the Jedi academy
say, before the events of new Jedi Order...

I'm really open to suggestions, nothing is set in stone

Hmm, interesting, well what about a mix, depending on however many people we get to play, you could have the jedi academy, as well as the Storm Trooper War. Though i'm thinking that might be better in 2 threads, not 1 simply because that could get confusing.
