After some long consideration, and with reluctance, I’m dropping the Astrogation Officer position from the crew list. There wasn’t enough interest expressed in the job, and twice in a row possible writers changed their minds and decided they wanted to join the thread as something else if possible.

It’s probably not a major issue anyway in this setting.

Anyway, I'm trying to avoid having the same feel and too many similarities with the "Hot Wet Arrival" and "Ring of Desire" threads that so many of the same writers are participating in.

I always go by the rule that if I try really hard I'll be able to think of something to post, at least add more to a story. This way I can suffer complete writers block at times and be thoroughly stumped for weeks

Maybe it's better just to post something for the sake of posting and trusting that someone else can reply to what you've written - but with the possibility of what it being later regretted....

I hope you can post more often, but we all get our down points in imagination too.

I'm not sure I understood the intent of psy projection correctly. Maybe you didn't have in mind that ladies would feel what guys are thinking of doing to them as if it is actually being done.

Still, I think it's a pretty nifty thing to play with, so I did in my latest post. If it interferes with the planned plot or just because it will probably get old pretty quickly, we could say that the effect was temporary, caused by the rods' settings that occured by some fluke. Then the effect will disappear when we are done having fun with it and we can keep going as planned.

There. Just thought an explaination was in order so it doesn't seem like I'm messing up the story.

My own reading of the intent was that it was feeling not as strong as the real thing, like a shadow of it, but that it was dependent on the number of people thinking the same thing. Other than that, I think it would be unfair and going too far to describe the reaction of another writer's character to such a thing. I think that part should be left upto them to describe.

As an example; Your character molests my character, but it would be wrong for you to describe my character's reaction to this. How my character reacts is upto me, because it's my character, not yours.
