"Star Trek: Doctors Without Borders (Or Boundaries)"

A hospital station in secure territory near the Trill homeworld. Its during the 2373-2375 Dominion War, everyone's tense. The crap's been hitting the fan fairly regularly in this sector. The central character (a young, kinda plain-jane Counselor,) Lieutenant (junior grade) Pia Austerlitz ends-up pregnant as a result of deciding whether or not it's worth it to wait for "Mr. Right", struggle with recently-reinvigorated fraternization regulations, or compromise her beliefs as a result of the war forcing her to overthink her overall mortality.

She decides to take a lover, toss the dice, and see what happens. The day she makes up her mind, a modified Miranda-Class vessel - the U.S.S. Tian An Men, ends up recovering a heavily damaged Excelsior-Class vessel full of casualties. Including a charming young medical officer with significant internal injuries from a Jem Hadar blade weapon and hand-to-hand, a broken arm, badly infected leg, and other injuries.

What she doesn't realize until its too little too late, is that her (Denebulan) lover, upon successfully co-mingling DNA with a mate, has dominant genetic attributes. Denebulan genetic attributes that cause partners/races with more, er..."recessive" genetic attributes to procreate and gestate astonishingly quickly, (five and a half to seven months) compared to humans.

No takers? No comments/ideas?

What I'd like to see in a Star Trek erotic story is how a known character behave in a completely different manner either under the influence of an alien or some A temporal anomaly.

Doctors Without Borders Or Boundaries sound interesting as a series of interconnected stories of various Starfleet doctors from the five Star Trek series.
