Thoughts? Who would be interested in writing or reading stories about stalkers?

what would the stories include - voyerism? rape? self-fantasy?

the obsession of an individual towards another that drives them to stalking has potential for exploring within a story, but what drives that obsession? the fame of the other person? their perceived beauty? some sense of self-rightousness?

Personally, I'm leaning toward a love-struck woman chasing a celebrity, who turns out to be his half-sister. Some serious incest possibilities there.

Alternately, staying with the incest, a sperm donors daughter tracks him down and they end up doing each other. It was the episode of law and order last night, wasn't actually their father they were doing but still. It is a known factor between family members that do not know each other for whatever reason.

Tell you the truth though, stalker makes me think of a guy who is obsessed with a woman. Makes me think of rape and kidnapping honestly.

Course i'd rather see somethin a little romantic, like a woman who is gorgeous and single because men assume she is dating already. There are suicides because of this, so you know if you see her at a bar, ask her out.

I would love to read a story about a teenager girl stalking a mature, elder man who would teach her about love between a man and woman. But that's probably because I'm in that situation myself

I think, at a very basic level, obsession is driven by what the stalker lacks in his own personality and his belief that the object of his interest can fill that vacuum.

True. This might be a case of straddling that line. A girl who really likes the guy, but he might think that she's a bit nutty. As long as she doesn't mean him harm, I don't suppose that she's a full stalker, just a quasi-stalker.

Since I've seen very few episodes of Two and A Half Men, I can't place the name "Rose". I do recall one episode that I watched, however, where he almost sleeps with a girl who might be his sister. He is disgusted at the idea when he finds out, but she still wants to go through with it.
