No, we'd have to be born with one to start with. Cat lady's need a cat because men have left them alone. Men don't need women to be successful. They are naturally industrious, productive, and can earn a good living and be quite happy alone. They can invite a woman into their life at any time if they feel the need. Women on the other hand have little to offer but themselves and begin to lose their appeal and desirability after age 30. Males are born knowing they will have to work their entire lives, women on the other hand are dependent on men for almost everything they need or want and once rejected and forced to work they can always embrace a cat.
