I have a friend who's SS # is being used by someone else. What does he need to do?

Definitely do report the problem to the Social Security people. They will at least try to do something because they do not want two people trying to collect payments on the same SS number.

Sometimes the police will try to catch the phony user, but only if they suspect that the phony user is into something a great deal more important than just SS number theft.

Hide - quickly. The SS, like most other Nazi organisations, is banned in many countries, and if Mossad discover your friend was a member they will come after him.
