It is a warm afternoon, but the plow went past & deposited a dump at the end of the driveway.

so Virgil, the muscular young son home visiting his ailing mother goes out to shovel. working in the warmth, he takes his sweatshirt off. His muscles ripple in the sun.

soon, several neighbour women ask if he'd mind shovelling for them...
