I've been out cleaning out my flower beds and doing some pruning. I've even been looking over the back yard to see where I might add a couple of beds for vegetables. I may turn into Green Thumb Gert this year! :D

The frogs have been croaking their little fool heads off the last few days too! (anyways a sure sign of spring here)

:nana: :nana: :nana:

We've been having some unusually lovely weather the past few weeks.

I need to go shopping to get some shorts and tops.

:p NAAA NAAA!!!! It's already here for us in centra NC!!! I cut my grass last weekend and it growing and deep green now! May have to cut it agin real soon...... But it is supose to get colder and wet this weekend :(
But My lawn needs the rain! I spread tons of compost on it and needs to be watered in!!!
Nows a great time to be throwing down compost, Godess, and putting out any Pre-herbicides you want to use to kill weed seeds. and you should probably start your Tomatoe seeds indoors now! Just get one of them cheap little plastic green houses and set it on top of your fridge!!!

Lots of stuff to do now!!!!

***Looks out at ANOTHER two inches of snow and more falling, bangs head against window***

all you spring fever freaks can

Emi, time for the gardening catalogs?? Thats what I always did when I was itching to start, but it was still too early...curl up in a chair with the catalogs and the gardening magazines, and start planning.:)

Its 72 degrees here, mostly sunny, and I'm sitting here in shorts. I went into town for awhile and all the way in, I saw dogwoods in full bloom, and daffodils, too. After the winter we've had, its perfect.

Actually I don't enjoy shopping that much, but since you so kindly offered to fund it I think I could get into the swing of things. :D

As not to hijack too much, I personally can't wait until spring, but it's till too damn cold here.

No Not yet....I saw it online though. She does pretty good and only has an occassional accident, unlike Emis "frogs", and Im not exceptionally worried about it as my carpeting is not all that great until the kids go away....well two of them anyhow, and I get the carpet thing nailed down financially. But we clean up the "spills"

Well Was just told tomorrow is a no go for work either but that even if the house falls down we are working Saturday....I dont see why they cant wait till monday at this point, but they are already three weeks behind and want to get moving. Supposed to be 50 on Sat, 60 on Sunday and fifties all next week! Yay! pffft!

Oh, and He is a She! I thought HE just had a small wiener, but apparently SHE just has a large vulva......

I have a line of them mixed in with some oaks that go right across my front yard, out at the street, that make a nice free fence/hedge for me. They are volunteers, and there is one lavender mixed in with all the whites, and I always tell myself that I'm going to dig it up and transplant it but by the time I remember which one is the lavender, it already has buds on it, and I don't want to move it while budding. I think I'll tag that thing this year, so I can take it with me when I go.:)

It always helps me to get some daffodils and hyacinths and tulips in little pots and put them in my kitchen window, it seems to give that spring fever a nice kick. (And then I want them in every room of the house.):)

Enjoy!

Been there, done that.

You need a cat Intrigued...you'll never have to pot plants ever again!

Ummm, NO. Cats are the very last thing I need. Those damn things with their little royal ass attitude terrorized the crap out of me! :)
