A friend reported having some spotting today, and all the research she's done points towards pregnancy. She's on the pill, however, and she just finished her period a couple days ago. Anyone know what it could be? I figured maybe something to due with stress, as it's exam time here.

Breakthrough bleeding when on the pill is not uncommon.

Personal experience!

In my case, it usuallly related to the fact that the particular hormonal mix was no longer correct and I needed to have a change of type of pill.

Stress can always be a factor in these things.

Don't try and second guess what is wrong. Have your friend see her doctor as soon as possible.

spotting could mean a number of things..could be stress,could be a vd,could be hormones.spotting does not mean you are pregnate though.like the person bfore said ..the best way to know is a pregnancy test,or better yet go to the clinic and get checked out.
