Cameron saw the fire in Jaedan still burned. But it was starting to heat her in other ways, going by the rose colour of her cheeks. He smiled ever so slightly at that. But those thoughts were pushed aside.
"Oh, I know you can ride, Little Rabbit, I guessed as much of one such as yourself. But who said anything about you even gracing a horse's back? You've got a good pair of legs there, it would be a shame to not put them to use." He took a length of rope, and tied her hands together in front of her. Letting them rest, he lopped a coil around her neck, knotting it so it would not choke her, nor slip off. He left a sufficient length to allow her to trail safely behind the horses.
He gathered the other three horses, all of them loaded with supplies, and whistled to his mount. The horse wandered over to him, rubbing it's nose on Cameron's shoulder. Cameron led the all out, pausing only to release the hounds from their run. The animals raced out, looking at Jaedan for food.
Cameron got onto his horse, and with a gentle tap of his feet, he started out at a walk from what was once the McCabe Castle.
