Whew, what a relief! I was almost afraid I'd be able to post on a political thread and not be personally insulted. For a moment, I actually thought a discussion could happen in which everyone talked about the subject without resorting to name-calling and insulting those involved. If that happened, I would've fainted in shock and amazement. Thanks guys - I hate fainting.

Laurel dear, I agree whole heartedly that Reagan hid behind the "I don't remember" excuse during the Arms for Hostages thingamajig, God protect me from my Rush loving relatives for saying so. And I still think that Bill worked damn hard at being a good Pres, and hell he even did a buncha stuff right, but (you knew that was coming, right?) my personal belief was that there was a buncha hunky stuff going on in the White House under his watch. Whether or not his thumb was in the pie, he was the man and the final authority. Now I'm over the White Water investigation, greedy people doing stupid things, and I'm also over Monica, though I'll never stop faulting his poor taste in girls, but come off it there are still a few to many questions remaining and besides I still doubt the whole Vince Foster "suicide".
