As a new author to Literotica, I am appreciative of most of the feedback received about my
stories. What is puzzling, however, is some of the vitriolic responses to the stories.
If I submit a story in the 'loving wives' category, I am somewhat amazed that some readers will
complain about the husband permitting exhibitionism or more from his partner or wife. Given
that the bulk of the stories have that general theme, in fact the 2004 award winner, why would
someone even bother to read this category and further comment on something dissagreeable to them?
I don't eat liver, so I don't look for it or buy it and I certainly don't comment on it.
I've compared notes with some other authors who have put stories in about cuckholders and gotten
spiteful, vicious responses as well. That is not my favorite gendre, yet I espouse no
bitterness toward the author of that genre. My aim is to entertain. My aim is to practice
writing skills. My aim is to get feedback on whether those skills are coming along and are entertaining readers.
There are many choices on the WWW. I wish that people would choose to follow the things that
they like and that entertain them, rather than utter attacks on those who think differently.
Is this what other authors have experienced ?
