Or it could be more modern day. A version of Survivor with one woman and a number of men. The men all compete for her favour and each week she banishes one man. There could also be immunity challanges so that she might not be able to banish the man she would like.
At the end of the series one man gets to father her baby.

First Motivated Swimmer!
One hundred men enter an arduous "Iron Man" kind of competition to qualify for the TV Program "First Motivated Swimmer!"
The top scoring twenty athletes enter the final competition.
At the biologically opportune moment, the twenty men are each given one chance to copulate with the same woman.

Each show could have three segments:
(1) 100 men are culled down to 20
(2) the 20 men from last week get their chance with Ms Right
(3) the lady from nine months ago is shown with her newborn and the man whose DNA matches
The show is the ratings leader of the season and making millions of dollars but the results come in after the fact so the producers don't know how many little make-up artists will arrive in the next nine months.
Network officials threaten to kill the assistant, or at the very least have him castrated.

Sperm Wars my favorite
As my name implies, the subject of cuckolding and unfaithful wives is of special interest to me. I prefer the type where the wives at least flirt with the risk of pregnancy by having unprotected sex with the other man or other men. One story idea that has been done before several times is that a couple go to the party where the hosts organize an adult version of "musical chairs" where the wives have to find a man's lap to sit on. The men are required to remove one article of clothing from whatever woman sits on their lap and are encouraged to take sexual liberties with them. As the woman become more undressed and the sexual play escalates, one woman ends up on her own husband's lap and imforms or reminds him that she doesn't have her diaphragm in. She leaves it to him to make the decision to either leave or stay. He might claim that the prospect of having sex with the other wives motivates him to stay, but perhaps the idea of allowing his wife to be inseminated by other men really appeals to him.
