Sperm Stealers

There was an article in one of my weekly magazines which inspired an idea in me.

The article was about a young couple mid 20s who wanted to have children but couldn't afford to as he was paying maintenance for his little boy who was the result of a short fling he had when he was a student. The mother was a 40 something career woman who slept with him for no other reason than to have a child. Apparently she's a new type of women dubbed "sperm stealers" who have sex just to conceive a child.

Anyway the tag stuck in my mind and we started thinking about a Lit story for it.

Perhaps there's a high class service for stealing sperm for high powered career women who don't want to take time to meet a man but desperately want a child because their biological clock is ticking. The service screens the men so the customers are guaranteed the best attributes for their babies which takes the risk out of one night stands. Once a man is chosen, he is lured / kidnapped and held in a facility where he is made to have sex with the woman buying his sperm or his sperm can be extracted in other kinky ways.

Of course the men's consent is not required so any man could be chosen regardless of whether he is married, already has kids, has a powerful job, is famous etc.

Any writers want to write this?

Years ago I was developing a story idea for a "stud service" of sorts (male whore house) where the customers were mainly middle aged women, and the studs - or main character at least - in their twenties.

The madam that ran the place actually punctured the condoms that were supposed to be used and was spiking the stud's drinks/food with fertility drugs unbeknownst to them...


Never did write it though.

I had a somewhat similar theme in an outline post-apocalyptic novel which depended on a very mild flu virus which was very infectious but had almost no impact on its victims, except that any male who caught it could not produce viable sperm. The first anyone knew of this side-effect was when no newly pregnant women turned up at the doctors' surgeries, and no preganacy test kits were sold. For a dozen years the few males who were still fertile were used ruthlessly by female dominated governments, until it was found that males who had been under about a year old at the time of the pandemic had developed normally and were fertile.

Of course, my publisher lost all interest in this with the advent of Swine Flu.
