Spelling?

I want a spell checker that can correct homonyms. AKA a mind reader checker.

I wish I could agree with you, dear Slave, but human editors are an endangered species. I should know ... I'm a professional editor (among other things) and all I hear from my fellow editors out there is that they're hanging on to their jobs by their fingernails.

(And did you notice that I put every iteration of "there" in that last sentence, Zeb? Of course you did.)

I'm painfully aware of the withering opportunities. The disappearance of technical editing is all too apparent in most mainstream-published novels. Then there's my last job in medical transcription: it was outsourced overseas. The cherry on top? After the errors became obvious I was invited back for "records review." Essentially it was doing the same job except I got to get wild with a virtual red pencil, and I would be paid for the privilege at half my previous rate. Uh, noooooo thanks!
