"Sense?" Excues me - sense or sence?

Common Sense?

I don't think so! Not in this'um here English lauguage. No!

But my beautiful wife, the one "Shebabe," (an editor no less) insists - it's all common sense.

I DON'T FUCKING THINK SO TIM!!!!!

It is "practice" - "familiarity" - and "memorization."

But it is not common sense - not in the least.

Your comments welcome.

Spelling isn't everything. Have your girl spell Shwarzenegger. If she can't do it,(I don't even think I spelled it right,)then tell her she's full of it.

lprolylalanylserine"???

Someone told me it's a real word, but I didn't see what their source was. Still, you gotta wonder if anyone can actualy pronounce it. Just checking.

BTW, if anyone says "It" instead of the word I meant, I'll kick them where the sun don't shine. :p

it is sense.

but renegade, the longest word is some 840 characters long, how many is that?

1,185 letters, according to the thread I read it from(don't think that's accurate though). It's supposed to be the technical name for "Tobacco Mosaic Virus, Dahlemense Strain."

Of course, I'm too lazy to check on any of this for myself to see if it's accurate. But just thought I'd share it since we're talking about spelling correctly and I wonder how many would be able to spell that on a regular basis.

AFM

What?!

I didn't look it up. Just copied it from someones post at another board. :p

See. Being a saddo is infectious. So stay away from me

English spelling has SO many exceptions that there are really only seven useful rules. All the rest, you have to practice and memorize (just like Sparky said). Our language "borrowed" so many words from others that logic went out the window a long time ago.
