Henry looked up at her again but shook his head as he lowered it once more. "You don't understand, there are things that something inside me is telling me to do. You may have liked the kiss, but you might not like what I may do if I lose control again. It is getting harder and harder to deal with every minute. "I don't want you being sad, so whatever is wrong with me I will try my best to control it until I leave once the party is over." Elise nodded, and saw that he was uncomfortable being around her. "If you don't feel comfortable, its alright...you can leave, I mean if you want...not that I want you to go." She blushed, ugh she was going on and on like a highschool girl.

He smiled at her again and tried not to laugh. "No, I will stay until the party is over and it is time to leave. You invited me here, the least I can do is stay for a while. I would like to see what you think of my gift in person, rather than hear about it later. I hope you are having a nice birthday." He did not stop smiling the entire time he spoke, he did not want to mess up her party by being wierd, he just had to take a deep breath and get himself under control. Elise smiled, "Okay. Well, I can open it right now." Before he could stop her she picked up the gift bag he had given her earlier and removed the colored tissue paper and pulled out the jacket. She smiled at Henry, "I love it, it's really sweet."

Henry watched as she pulled the jacket from the bag. He held his breath as she looked at it, he hoped she liked it. When he saw her smile he released his breath and smiled back. "I'm glad you like it, I thought it might be egotistical or tacky." He was very relieved that she liked it. He did not know what he would have done if she had not liked it.

"I loved it, and I don't think it was egotistical at all." Elise said, another slight blush formed on her face. "Ummmmmmm, if you want we can dance again. I mean, I understand if you feel uncomfortable. If you do, feel uncomfortable I mean, we don't have to dance."

He smiled at her as she again said she loved his gift. He thought about dancing with her for a moment then decided he would give it another try. "I think I can handle a dance for the birthday girl." He led her out into the dance area again and started to dance. He tried holding back his feeling of lust. Elise blinked in confusion, that wasn't what she expected at all! Now, she felt absolutely miserable about what she had done to him. She gulped back the tears of regret, she knew what she had to do and it wasn't something that she had planned on doing that evening.

Elise stood up and took a deep breath, before saying, "Well, I wouldn't want to make you feel uncomfortable, so if you want to leave, that's fine." She looked down, then before he could say anything, she said, "and you didn't do anything wrong Henry." She smiled at him, and pushed a strand of blonde hair out of her eyes.

Henry smiled with relief at her. He got up and took a deep breath. "Well, one thing I can say about whatever is going on with me right now, it has opened my eyes about not getting too focused on soccer and school. I was wondering if once I get a little more control back, if you might want to go out with me sometime. I promise that I would act better than I acted tonight. So, what do you say? Will you let me take you out sometime?" He waited for her answer, wondering what she might do. As long as she didn't laugh at him or just throw him out he figured he would be fine.

Elise blushed, he wanted to go out with her? This was certainly not what she had expected. "Yes!" She squealed, then blushed once more, "I erm, I mean, yeah that would be nice." She gave him another peck, this time on the cheek.

Henry tried not to laugh when she squealed a yes. He smiled at her and held himself back when she kissed his cheek lightly. He was still fighting the urge to be all over her. I know that exams are soon, and playoffs are in two weeks. I have this week off of practice, so we can go out any time this week. How does that sound?" Elise thought about her schedule this week. She knew she was free for the whole week, but didn't want to seem too easy to access. "Hm, I'll have to check my schedule..." she said thoughtfully,"but, I'm pretty certain I'm free." She smiled at him again, as people finished exiting her dorm room.
