Species movies ... story spinoffs?

Anyone here ever watched any of the three Species films? The first two starred Natasha Henstridge and the third a relatively unknown female (Sunny Mabrey, I believe) as a hot human/alien hybrid that could basically switch forms (between alien and hot human female). Basically the whole plot of all three movies is that the hot alien female wants to procreate so that her species can overrun the planet, and she basically spends a lot of time naked trying to bed down guys. Unfortunately these aliens are picky and so have a sort of sixth sense that helps them detect genetic defects in potential mates...

Anyway, if anyone here knows of the movies of which I speak, has anyone ever considered doing spinoff fiction? Either "what ifs" where the storyline from one of the existing movies takes a different path, or completely unrelated stuff?

truly classic cheesy horror, and #1 was quite sensual. Might be tough to translate that visual energy into words.

But you had to admit, the first movie was pretty darn hot... and the second one wasn't without its charms, especially in one scene when the main character (some all-American astronaught) is having a threesome with two hot, sexy brunettes .

Maybe one could take the idea and move off onto a different tangent... I love the notion of the aliens giving off some irresistable pheromones that humans of the opposite sex find alluring, and the fact that the aliens' own arousal for one another was itself something they were not able to resist.

'Cept the fact that they were trying to kill us all sorta threw a damper over the tent-pole in my pants, as it were.

If there was a story idea to be had, I myself would definitely take that aspect out of my work... I'd rather have a different, far more hungrily erotic type of 'species' visiting this 3rd rock from the sun!

Meh, don't think there's anything good in a Species spinoff on Lit... much better concepts out there to be had, surely! But maybe a good sci-fi erotica piece could take some concepts out of the movies that were good... there were a COUPLE of good points to the movie that would carry across well on this site

But I'm not gonna work on anything like this any time soon, I have other story ideas that are much more pressing.
