Yes, reasonably so. Though I'd have to look at a map.

You close to Greenville, S.C.?

My kids live in Greenville, SC with their dad and his partner; I'm out there every so often visiting... (who knew anyone else knew about Greenville? LOL)

Sweet of you to offer, but frazzled me + 5 chickens (children) + bookstore + coffee is a baaaaaaaaad combination. LOL

I stick to very distracted wanderings through zoos, parks, and playgrounds when I'm in town. :)

Hmm, southern lit dinner party sounds like fun. Just wait until my 2 month old is a tad older so I ain't feeding him so often :) I missed the other party due to being hugely prego.

I defer to your better judgement lol. If can rope em in seats the Greenville Drive games are fun. But might really be frazzled trying to hold em down for 9 innings of baseball. :)

It will be football season before we know it.

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. I love late fall Sundays spent listening to football on the hammock (usually fall asleep by 3rd quarter but I digress).

Oh, Jesus. Can I go hide until it's over? I think I'm the only person in the South who just doesn't give a damn about football. I really dread listening to B. watching it...and talking about it...and talking about it some more.

Blasphemy! Move to New York where you belong.

After I start sentences with the phrase, "Well, out in the country, we do it like this" about five or six times, I'm betting they'll just send me back.

Oh, thank God. I was starting to think I was abnormal.

Me either. And K only watches when it gets near the superbowl, he's not interested in watching people get their asses kicked.

My sister doesn't like any sports. I think the only thing she likes is money and eating.

Me, too. I say give 'em all a ball, and they won't have to fight over the one. I just don't understand the attraction. B. tells me, "It's a strategy game," to which I reply, "Yeah, well, so's chess, and I don't see you going batshit crazy over that." You can imagine how well that goes over.

ROFLMAO *wheeze*

Oh, I'm gonna remember that one.

I live in Texas! Stinky, sticky, steamy ol' Texas. *cries* Nah, I love it here...
