We don't have a big new Year's meal type of thing here. We have snackies instead. They go better with alcohol.
Is today wednesday? I was supposed to go to a post Christmas party wednesday.
i ain't going to no parties. I can't even drink anyway - too much Tylenol in my system of late.

Yes!

We have however ditched the champagne in favor of drinks we prefer. Which makes the requisite (for me) accompanying fried artichoke hearts an iffy thing. Will I or won't I? We shall see but dayum are they good!

Egg nog is a MUST, also fireworks and games are always part of our celebration. We usually do a, "what surprised you about the year, what do you want to see happen differently in the New Year" sort of talk thing. Sometimes we do a burning bowl ceremony. What we don't do is resolutions. No one keeps them anyway so why bother with the guilt?
