Southerners

Pepsi sucks on so many levels. Who has ever ordered a rum and Pepsi? Maybe Jackson. boy and Pepsi. Extra cream.

Pepsi is flat tasting to me..has no zing like a Coke does. LOL about Jackson ordering a rum and Pepsi...So wrong on so many levels

pop will always be pepsi to me..as coke is just too sweet for me.. although I love a good soco and coke. I agree that coke mixes with liquor better.

Nobody gives a flying damn whether it's Pepsi, RC, Dr. Pepper, 7-Up or whatever -- it's still a Coke.

There's the acid test. If you ordered a coke at the high school football game and had a 50/50 chance of getting an RC...you were probably located somewhere between the north end of KY and the south end of GA.

"Pop" was my grandfather, not a beverage.

Put me in the kitchen with desserts to make (cookies, brownies, peach cobbler....) and I'm a happy little girl!

Thats a hot spot to me. I've very affectionate and would be behind you holding your waist nibbling on your neck. I get chased out of kitchens as told by ladies I dated they can't get anything done with me there.

Hehe, I don't mind affection, just as long as you don't try to help me cook or bake! I'm not too good at sharing the cooking duties with anyone else. :D

It's funny how much of that is true. But if I order a Coke and you give me a Pepsi, I'm kicking your ass.

Anyone who offers up a pepsi ~needs~ their ass kicked.

*I* would never do such a thing. I may suggest Ale-8-One, tho'.
(pronounced "A Late One"). Thank God for modern distribution so I can now get it locally instead of having to curb my cravings till I'm down in the Red River Gorge area.

*Whispers*,"Where is that voodoo doll got from New Orleans, gotta get me a love potion going." Ummm can I have some of your hair. No reason really just ummmm wanting to see color. Yeah thats why.

Naked for a Southern means you ain't got no clothes on. Nekked means you ain't got no clothes on and you up to somethin'."

I had forgotten about him. A Sunday morning ritual was reading his column in the KNS, well usually Daddy would read it first, always announced by laughter coming from the living room and followed by his reading it out loud.

Thanks WD, you just reminded me of a great childhood memory.

*Goes to dig out my copy of Shot Low Boys They're Riding Shetland Ponies.*

Mt Dew, thank you.
Although in my diabetic state it has to be diet... *sighs*

every time I think of Diet Mt Dew.. I remember my first "job". I worked one summer as that annoying person standing in the grocery store asking if you want to test something.... that something was diet mountain dew. That was the summer that I actually grew to like either one... regular or diet... I just cant think about it without being able to smell that small grocery store just outside of Ashland, Kentucky.

Nothing is better than a cold can of coke poured over ice, diet for me, too.

I guess I am a Southerner, with a twist. I spent my informative years in california but back home in Kentucky now.:D

Soda is only when they don't got Sweet Iced Tea. lol

mmmm sweet iced tea... I can still taste it, nice and cold while eating a picnic dinner with all the people from church down at Greenup Dam or behind the church itself and the southern gospel music playing.. or at my family reunions when everyone would pull out their guitars...

dammit.. I wanna go home

diet dew

That was my addiction for years. I drank cases of it. For me, it was like liquid crack and I still miss it. It kept me going when I was sleep deprived and needed to get things done. Can't have any carbonation though so I had to go cold turkey.

So, I'll stick with splenda sweetened sweet tea.
