It's not a shopping cart it's a buggy. I don't use buggy but I use fixing which means in a little while. I'm fixing to go to Walmart.

grinnin' like a skunk eatin' grits--

fine as frog's hair--

if I was doing any better, I'd be twins :D

Flat out like a lizard drinking...

from another part of the world...

Not too fond of catfish. Now trout, that's another story.

Trout is better, but we live near the St John's River and catfish are as think as fleas on a hound dog. Makes a great supper with all the fixins.

Why does the St John's River flow north? Because Georgia sucks. I didn't know it was over 300 miles long.

Giggles...Georgia sucks and Florida blows.

In my neck of the woods the St John's is more like a marshland with finger rivers running through it and cows walking through it. It is amazing to go through Jacksonville and see how big it is there.

Because Georgia sucks.

As one of my co-workers likes to say, "You ain't bird turdin!"

My Aunt has a saying that I've never been able to forget. "Busy as a cat coverin' shit!"

I think she has a thing for cats because she was the first person I ever heard say, "I don't know him from Adam's house cat."

That ain't worth a fat baby's ass!

Drunk as Cooter Brown.

Polecat, only people from the south know that one. :D:rolleyes:

Boy, you better leave that woman alone. She's got stuff that Ajax won't scrub off!

1. Colder than a well diggers ass.
2. Happier than a pig in shit.
3. Down the road a piece.

I'm not sure if this is a Southerner only phrase but I've always been a fan of "Built like a brick-shithouse".

"Hot damn almighty that girls fine! She's built like a brick-shithouse!"

Two other phrases came to mind as I was writing that:

Crazy as a shithouse rat.

Built for breedin'

Instead of "you shouldn't..." I love hearing "you don't need to be..."

I also love getting asked how old my "youngin'" is. :)
