Writing Lyrics

Today my former music collaborator was visiting from Iowa and we were reminising over the 14 songs we wrote together and I started to realize how much I missed song writing. I reminded him of one of our racier songs that has the line in it "Give me a woman in thigh hi boots with flaming red hair and dark brown roots."
He said, "Wow, I had forgotten all about that song. My wife hated it."
Laughs, I bet she did. He said he couldn't play it in cafes either, because it was too wild.
It was good to see him. I hope I get inspired to play guitar more, but I know myself. Out of sight, out of mind. I have so many interests and not enough time for all of them. What's a girl to do?

surprise

I was pretty zonked from working Sat. and Sun. I was sitting on my couch in nothing but my panties reading a book in the middle of the afternoon and dozed off sitting up.
When I woke up I realized the apt. landscapers were standing right outside of the window working on the flowerbed. My slats were half open. There was nothing on the couch to cover myself with so I jumped up and went to put some clothes on. I don't know if they'd been there 20 seconds or 20 minutes. Sheesh.

My first Literotica story just got accepted.

While I was at work Sat. my story finally got posted in Literotica. Some of you read the rough draft on Soulcast first, so thanks for your words of encouragement. And thanks to those that already read it on Literotica and voted. It's linked to my name at the bottom.
I just can't believe it's had 40,000+ hits since Sat. Woohoo.

Is everyone ready for another weekend?
I'm hoping to go shoot some arrows on Sunday. My plans for Sat. got cancelled, but it's not like I don't have a million other things to do. So many people recommended Nora Roberts to me, so now I'm reading her book the Key of Light (the first in a trilogy). I just hope the library has the other 2. I picked up about 6 books I want to read at the library a few days ago. Two are mysteries, 2 are romance novels, and I'm not sure what the others are off the top of my head.
So if nothing else, I'll be reading this weekend.
It would be so nice to go out dancing. I need to find a place I can go out dancing.

How 'bout a cuppa Joe?

I've been following the coffee thread about writing erotica related to coffee houses, so I decided to write a story with that theme. I just submitted it to Literotica yesterday. Hopefully, it will get approved faster than my last story. My last story had an attachment, and I think that slowed down the approval process greatly. Or maybe the editors are just swamped, what with all the submissions in the Survival Contest that must be flying their way. So when it gets posted, if anyone is still reading this thread, I'll let you know.

Every week I try to find another place to earn money on line with writing. I just signed up to be an Ebay affiliate and a Amazon affiliate. On certain of my online articles, their ads will pop up. I always hated ads. But if I'm going to be seeing them everywhere anyway, I may as well sign up for a piece of the pie.

All the free sites I once joined now have ads. That used to infuriate me. I guess I've joined the dark side Luke.
