Okay so I've shaved before and it was awful but I have noticed my hair down there catches a lot of stuff and its hard to wash and such also hubby doesn't like getting hair in his mouth and I think he'd be more vigorous in oral if it was trimmed better. We both don't like fully shaved but I have no idea how to remove most of the hair and leave a little patch and it look good. BTW you are talking to somoene who attempted to cut her son's hair and ended up having to shave his head.

Ask your husband to help you trim it to a reasonable short length with electric clippers. You're aiming for short enough that it's not a bother, but still long enough that it's not prickly. We usually achieve this with just the clipper itself (especially if you go in the direction of the hair growth), but you could use one of the shorter guides.

You can shoot for a landing strip/small patch; if you don't like it, just trim that area the same length as the rest. In terms of oral, it might be best to have it all short anyway, as any longer hair on your mound might irritate his nose when he's going down on you.

thnx erika. He cut it a bit short but its much nicer. I didn't even realize how nasty it was down there. I admire him for going down at all cuz I wouldn't've

You can make or buy templates to trim around. Hold the template in place with one hand and run the clippers with the other. Once you've gotten the bulk off, clean up with a razor or hair removal cream.
