For those of you who have LOGO, the gay cable channel, you should check out the series "Sordid Lives." It's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Set in a rural Texas community with several hysterically funny characters including Brother Boy, an aging drag queen who sings Tammy Wynette songs, a town drunk who calls everybody on the phone each time she has one too many and says "Is this the radio station?," a valium-addicted ex-socialite and a host of others. Rue Mclanahan, Olivia Newton-John and a bunch of others are on it. If you need a laugh, check it out.

damnit! i wish i had that channel.
*sigh*
living the lezbean life in rural texas would make me an expert.

The wife and I really enjoyed LOGO when we were living in AZ. Miss not having it over here.

Recommend it to everyone, it has some good documentaries as well.

Brother boy rang a bell. Sordid Lives is a 2000 movie that anybody can rent. And it was funny. Sounds like they got everybody together for a series.
