I think the best song Elvis ever recorded was Chuck Berry's 'Promised Land'.

The reason: because it's a song without a chorus or repetition. (Elvis fucked it up by missing a verse and repeating the last two)

I really really like songs that don't have choruses and are absolutely chock full of words, which is probably why I like The Jam and Beautiful South (with exceptions of course)

Anyone know any other songs (that I might have heard of) that don't have choruses or repetition?

Promised Land is great, especially the covers done by the Grateful Dead.

I think one of my favorite songs without a chorus is "Color My World" by Chicago.

Not alot of lyrics, but sometimes a few words is all it takes.
