Royce, Thank you so much for your post...you post is very thoughtful and protective of the special needs community, that really means a lot.

Unfortunately, the "R" word is something that still remains at large in our society, a word that people use to compensate for their lack of "whatever"...sad that immature statements are used at other people's expense...not only directly toward the special needs individual but to their families, friends, caretakers, etc.

I , SOMETIMES, can overlook many things , and can be quite easygoing...however, when it pertains to anything but positivity in regard to wonderful, amazing, people such as my treasured brother, I cannot remain silent, and I truly appreciate it when others such as yourself cannot as well.

He is extremely " Special" to me and I "Need" him very much. He keeps me balanced, and enables me to appreciate so many beautiful moments that life has to offer had it not been for him...so blessed and very proud to call him my brother...
