Something wrong with logging in

I need help. I can't seem to log in. I have a private messgae I want to get and respone to and am not able to. this has been going on since the end of Oct. I even tried to sign up with a new name and it still won't log me in. It shows I am but when I go to do something on here I have to log in all over again. I don't understand why. I have tried doing this on AOL and Explorer and the same thing. Am I the only one? I tried contacting someone but no one EVERY responds. Really poor customer service. I have no problems logging on to other message boards like this so why this one? Any ideas?

Well, if I may be an asshole for a minute, the site is free and you get what you pay for...

Asides from that, something similar has happened to other friends of mine. You need to e-mail Laurel or Manu and ask them about the problem. That's really all the advice I can give you. Sorry.

I think that a few others have had a similar problem, but I'm not sure how they got it sorted in the end.

Can't you send pm's under this name at all?

Have you tried contacting 'Laurel', she would be the one to speak to....oh and as for poor customer service I guess you get what you pay for.........

By the way I find the 'service' here is great!

well for some reason now it works. And I tried to us the contact us link to email about this problem. I did it like 4-5 times and no response back at any time on this. So to be that is bad customer service. Otherwise I have never had a problem here. I couldn't PM or anything before. I was able to finally get my PM and respond so who knows what was up.

It might have taken a little bit for the system to get you in, so to speak.

Try cleaning all the Cookies and Temporary Internet Files out of your system too.

LIT is a reliable site...maybe its your machine. Go into the Cookies folder and delete all files except "index.dat", then go into the temporary Internet files folder, and delete everything in there. Then reboot, reconnect and re-try.

Windows (I'm assuming here), maybe reading an old cookie, that says you are logged in.

Its doing it again. I can't log in to do anything. It shows me logged in once I log on from the main page but when I click to go to private messages or anything it asks for my user name and password all over again. Like I said I use other messge boards similar to this and don't have problems with it at all. I have tried to clean cookies out and it doesn't help. So I guess I won't be using this board anymore.
