We only had 3 channels. 4 if the weather was good.

And if you didn't like what was on channel 6, you had to get up and actually change the channel. None of those remote thingies.

Well actually, my folks had 2 remotes. My brother and me. "Hey! Change the channel, would ya??

3 channels?! We only had 2. And that was B&W, none of the fancy colour TV's. Not to mention widescreen, or home theatre and DVD's. Not even a VCR. You wanted to watch something but weren't there when it aired, tough luck!
