Something special is going on

Amelia, my first kitten, who has become a young woman and has been rather elusive since Umberto joined us, is suddenly affectionate like she was when she was a baby.

I don't know how to explain it. Do you think it is a matter of her forgiving me for bringing Umberto? (they get along fine)

Hm, how old is she? Never know. She could be coming into heat. Cats are tricky that way.

Cats go through phases...my cat started out sleeping with me every night, to never, and now sleeps with me if i'm on the bed and not the futon.

They're moody creatures

Oh, it is time to get her fixed- that is certain.

I am just not accustomed to her acting so sweet.

How old is Umberto again? Better not wait on that "fixing" step. You'll have a lot of little kittens before you know it!

one thing i've learned about cats is that they do not like their environment changed at all. that includes new cats, dogs and kids. even if you remodel they get into a snit and pout.
