Something seems very wrong here...

In Firefox under view is zoom. Under zoom is zoom in, zoom out, reset, and text only. Hot keys are ctrl++ for in and ctrl-- for out. ctrl+0 is reset. If text only is selected it stays selected until you un-select it.

For Windows, Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Up will magnify the page by 10% in chrome browser. Similarly, Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Down will zoom out by 10%

I've always Ctrl and + or - to enlarge or shrink.

Ctrl and 0 returns the screen to the normal size.

EDIT: or as TxRad said. Not sure why I didn't see his response before.

It's funny people are complaining about not getting 45k views when I'm delighted to break over 1k ;P LOL. I guess it's a matter of volume of posting stories, but still...dang man....

Man, time for me to write some brother-sister action :p Or is it mother-son action. :p

I get pretty good view-counts (nothing record breaking, or even terribly big mind you, but good in my opinion. Good for me, subjectively, I guess is what I mean) with brother/sister stories, and it's a fun dynamic to write in my opinion. I find there are a lot of avenues of approach to a lot of situations with the sibling situation, a lot of ways of looking at things. I don't get terribly high view counts, I'm not nearly as well-established as some of the other authors in this thread, but I get enough to be encouraged to keep writing. My most popular series' latest chapter has been up for just shy of a month and it is sitting at 8600 views. It's a brother/sister story, and the two before it in the series were very well received, so it had some steam built before it hit.

I would say read through some of the I&T and get a feel for it, then write one up and see how it goes. Couldn't hurt, right? Getting a story in another category always gets you new eyes on your works, as well. Readers from new categories will get the chance to see your name, and will probably give your other works a read. I would say give it a shot.

Thanks wakingDown and to others who have replied about getting more views/votes. I know part of my problem is coming up with consistent stories. I also tend towards romantic stories or fantasy that aren't really big pulls.

I think it would be exciting to write a mother-son story but trying to come up with something that's not 'they got drunk' or some forced situation has me a bit stumped. Will just have to read over a few and get some hints.

Yup, North Bay gurl ;) All the wine and all the trouble ;)
