If ten people who know you were asked to write ONE adjective that would best describe who YOU are, what do you think would be the most common word written?

Hello there Rosie!

Stubborn :D it has it's moments!

Actually had to do this a couple of years ago and had two words which ran even....honest and fun. Interestingly the third most common one was spiritual. Is an interesting and sometimes scary exercise to go through, but definately worth it and a good morale booster in low moments.

holy shit. I was JUST talking about this 3 days ago.

Patient would be what they would all say, hands down.

I'm torn between temperamental and loyal. I'm probably equally both. ;)

Ten people that knew me well would probably go with loyal though... it's the ones that don't know me as well that only see the temperamental side.

You know what I find most interesting in this? A couple of you I don't know at all, except BY your posts. And your adjectives fit very well, the YOU as poster, who I have come to recognize.

Those who have posted, whom I know personally (as personally as one can know another online) have used adjectives that I would use, too. For the exception of calista... if you are moody, you certainly contain that in your online persona. (It's not something I have ever noticed about you.)

I hope more people will post to this. It's fun to compare what we "think" we know about another to what another "knows" about him/herself.

A little introspection can be fun.

Depends on the person, I suppose.
General consensus might range from "odd/strange" to "loyal" to "caring."
Me- I'd say- um... hmm.... I don't know. I'll think on it and get back here.

The most common adjective used by people who know me is "sensitive". As they explain it to me, it's not so much that I am overly sensitive in my own life (I am, but I've had years to learn how to deal with it), but that I am sensitive about others.

Now, I say I am willful and somewhat stubborn. But sometimes we don't see what others do.

There were always in me, two women at least,
one woman desperate and bewildered,
who felt she was drowning and another who
would leap into a scene, as upon a stage,
conceal her true emotions because they
were weaknesses, helplessness, despair,
and present to the world only a smile,
an eagerness, curiosity, enthusiasm, interest.

Hmmmmm, i'm most often called weird.

or Not Normal.

I'm not sure what they'd write though.

Practical. God, that sounds so boring. But it's true.
