This person apparently knows a lot about me, and the only way that they could is from information on here. I know who it is, and I think you're the scum of the earth to lead on Zephan the way you are. He's half in love with this character you're pretending to be, and sending ME the love letters. Knock it off, you're hurting him. You're not only ruining his marriage that he's desperately trying to repair, you're interfering with MY personal life. If you continue, I will file a harassment charge against you.

People who do this kind of thing are pretty low. He should delete the name from his ICQ and you and he should arrange a password so he knows it is you. Sorry this is happening to you and him. Hope it works out.

Actually, unless ICQ has patched a few things up, it could be something else. There's a way that people can "peek" at your ICQ list to see the numbers. I'm not sure if they can see what you're typing or not. But then they can send messages to the people on your list using any number they want.

I once had someone who would flood my ICQ with messages from random numbers, including my own! But it would be the same message from each number and they'd come in dozens.

Again, I'm not sure if this is what's going on or not, but if the messages look like they're coming from your number, then it could be.

Also, they may be using their e-mail to send you a message. I know that used to be possible too.

Only a precious few know my personal email address (I think maybe three or four people), and I don't use ICQ. The messages I'm getting from Zephan proclaiming his joy and love are going to an old email address I had way back when. He's a friend, and nothing more than that, nor will he ever be anything more, so this hurts him more than anyone else. This stinks of something familiar, and he is unfortunately the one who will carry the brunt of this sick game.

I am not even smart enough to speculate about this matter, but I am sick to death that this is happening to you and that man. I want you to know that you are right in standing up, and you are more right to take legal action if this continues. It is an invaison of privacy, and it can't be legal to impersonate another actual, real person with the intent to mislead others.

What is it with all the unfounded accusations floating around today? I happened to skim through this and noticed MY name associated with harrassing someone that I have never met. IF someone is harrassing you -- go and report them to the police in their home state. IF you have solid evidence to back up your accusations then that person should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If you do NOT have solid proof -- I would suggest that you leave my name out of this mess and everyone else's name as well.
