David Frum from The Atlantic has some rather fascinating thoughts on the prospects for President Sheinbaum, not only the first female, but the first Jewish President of Mexico. What are her prospects in a highly destabilized Mexico? Can she bring some sanity back to that country? One can only hope. AMLO has a mixed record. Which parts of his legacy will she follow? From which will she distance herself to chart her own course? Can she do so?
