Assuming that you don't believe in reincarnation, this is the only life that we/I have. Yes, there are problems, but I would rather experience them than never have the chance.

Think about the concept of the Garden of Eden. If it hadn't been for Eve and the snake, we would still be walking around oblivious of everything. All of our primitive needs would have been met and there would have been no room for thinking or invention. That would be soooo boring.

As for me, I am so glad that life is a "bitch" because that's what life is all about. Adversity: if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger.

We all die, eventually. What we do in between is up to us. And if that's a bitch, then so be it. I guess I just love this bitchin' life. It ceratinly is better than the alternative.

I believe that the only bad thing in life, is the experience you don't derive something meaningful from. Life is so wonderful. I love life. The good stuff, the bad stuff, the stuff that makes you think and go 'oh shit', or 'wow'.
If I find myself in a depressingly bad situation, I take myself out of it. I observe, as if I wasn't the one involved and try to see things from a different perspective-see what can be changed and what can be gained from the experience. It helps. It allows me to reap the benefits as it is happening, rather than saying "hindsight's 20/20".

Perhaps, what's truly wretched is how short Life really is and how much time the majority of us waste of it.
