Some really pretty stuff

Thanks ADR. I remember seeing something similar many years ago but these creations were so relaxing. I think I'll save the page and share them with my students.

Nice!

Thanks ADR. I looked at the thread the other day and decided I probably needed to go to my coffee shop "WiFi" to do the downloads. But I see they are short enough to do on dial-up.

Thanks again. Hope you are doing well. :rose:

Thank you ADR. That was beautiful. Wish I had that kind of talent. That must take years to know how to do so easily.

Those images are so lovely, would look perfect framed

Thanks for sharing them

:)

uh uh... scratches head and runs to hide ...that screen is reading my mind !!

It isn't reading your mind hon, it's one of those cute little "math tricks" out there.

No matter what numbers you use, the answer comes out to 9 or some multiple thereof....

examples:
12 > 1+2=3 > 12-3=9
23 > 2+5=5 > 23-5=18
31 > 3+1=4 > 31-4=27
99 > 9+9=18> 99-18=81
etc... All of the multiples of 9 have the same symbol... *grin*

Believe me, I tried about 12 - 13 numbers before it dawned on me that the final answer was always 9 or a multiple of 9...

YIK,
- Geoff

I've seen so many variations of these and I knew there had to be some kind of mathematical mechanism involved in it.

Thanks Geoff, for the explanation. ;-)

They are very cute indeed!

Yes and thanks for reminding me. ;-) I forgot to post that, didn't I? They're made of marzipan.

Thank you Geoff for the nice explanation , although mine was more a joke than a real fear . ;) I thought there was a trick but only your words made it clear for me ! :rose:

Well thank you for the correction. I was going by what was on my original email, which was obviously incorrect. ;-)

I did too when I posted it somewhere. They are so precious. I used to say to my own babies, "I could just eat you up" and I thought some brilliant person had made that possible. :D
