I followed DCL's lead and did a google search for my name and some stories and found my "Jessica's Big Dick Adventures" at the following site (without my permission):

Women on The Web Erotic Stories
http://www.womenontheweb.com/eroticstories/es_section284.html

I'm about to email them and complain. Others of you might wish to check their site for your stories as well.

Thanks D-man - I'm on it, too. This is another site that we've had problems with before. Last time, they assured us that they wouldn't pull this again.

It looks like this is going to be a long, hot summer. :)

Just a quick question..

I give my permission for Lit to post my stories, right?

Does Lit have the power to make other web sites leave my work alone?

Or is it something you take care of yourself?

I've often wondered...

...how do you actually prove that the stories are your property?

It seems to me that those little copyright notices mean nothing as anyone can just say that they are the legitimate author.

We are constantly watching for other sites that try to steal stories, and we go after any site we catch stealing. Because Lit is pretty big, and I can be a real bitch, we've never to my knowledge had a story stolen that wasn't removed once we became aware of it.

Beyond the legal stuff, stealing author's work is something that pisses me off personally. If any author - Lit or even non-Lit - ever needs help dealing with copyright infringement on the web, I encourage you to contact me and I'll do anything I can to help.

Checking the erotic poetry, I noticed several author's names from Lit. I wonder if their work is there by their choice?

I'm almost disappointed no one's swiped mine. Maybe that's a hint. LOL

fucking typos

I'm reading through all of the story titles, I've found (so far) one other author from Lit. Should I PM this person? Or just mind my own business?

Well, you're in good company, April. I took Dill's (and DCL's) advice and did a google search under my name and story titles and except for a link to another site that I have given permission to post my stories at, nothing showed up.

So far, so good.

Unfortunately, they didn't show up as being here either. Unlike Dillinger, whose story (Jessica's Big Dick Adventure) showed up at both WomenOntheWeb and Lit, mine do not show up as being on Lit.

No wonder I don't get much feedback! LOL

Yes - amazing they had the guts to actually use my name on the stories as well!

Laurel - I emailed them and asked them to remove the stories and said that only Literotica.com had my permission to publish them. I cc'd you on the email I sent.

 Gaucho. Good to see you hanging out.

I haven't been able to find my poems through google. But I don't have that kind of patience to sift through more than 15 pages. Whatever.

April, we either need to change our name to Dillinger

OR

Write something with the word DICK in the title. :D

I have talked to Bob Peale.. he knows.

I also found some of GuyJD's and Sparky Kronkite

LMFAO!! I wonder if Laurel could be persuaded to change both our names to Dillinger? Hehe

Or Maybe Just a Change in Titles?

How about Would You Like A Word With Jessica's Big Dick?

I just found another of my stories on the same site... "The Lingerie Store" *sigh*

I don't think I'd say I'm flattered that my stories were stolen, it mostly sucks. I'm VERY loyal to Lit and I don't need my stories anywhere else. And I tend not to think they were stolen because they're better than anyone else's - I just happened to be in the line of fire this time.

This is interesting - this site lists my email address as rdillinger12@hotmail.com - which is NOT my email address - I wonder if someone with that address stole the stories and then submitted them.

Dillinger

I think they probably do that so the readers of that site can send feedback, and you won't find out they have been stolen.

Thanks glamorilla - *smile*

You're probably right freakygurl32 but I emailed that address as well, just in case.

April - sure, go ahead an use my name if you want... *LOL*

Gaucho - yes, I highly recommend using the word DICK in the titles of any stories you write - adding the word BIG in front of it is also recommended. *grin*
