Having watched the British coverage of the celebrations of the death of Margret Thatcher some thoughts occurred to me about left wingers.

1. Most of the celebrants are really fucking ugly looking.

2. The defining characteristic of left wingers is hate.

3. Most of the celebrants are really fucking ugly looking.

4. Most of the party goers are too young to have the faintest idea of her time in government.

5. Most of the celebrants are really fucking ugly looking.

gotta say though, a large chunk the 80+ grannies would go to the parties if they could arrange hospital transport to & from. i know one granny & one dude who are sorry she's gone. the rest either don't care or think death was too good for her.

I had a 98 year-old granny who was as beautiful as they come. Not on the outside, necessarily. She had two huge gardens, one of vegetables the other of cut flowers, that she worked almost up to her death. My last memory of her is in a long cotton dress and a straw hat hoeing weeds.

no, she ended her existence in the ritz for £3000+ per night or whatever it is.
as for hate, i was able to loathe her as a politician, loathe her as a person, but can't feel what you do about now she's dead (or even as she grew old and sick). she's done. shame the influence of her policies couldn't be buried with her, though.
