How very sensible of the co-mom not to just sit home an mope about the problem, but to seek the legal status she wanted to have. Adoption is not the same thing. And it is refreshing to see a reasonable decision from the bench in the news. It makes sense that people should be able to make family arrangements for the care of children to suit their circumstances.
