Readers butchering the story depends on the writing style / authors proficiency than the idea itself. I've come across stories that had dark and extreme ideas like this that were well received because the author made a good piece of literature.
I'm just surprised that there are not at least a couple of stories exploring this idea already on the site. Seems like a good way to explore the depravity someone would go through to feel better in their life or to get closer to someone. Its similar to hypno kink but with more agency and less self-identity erasure, or tpe but with extreme measure of achieving that power.

Many years ago this site had a sister (or at least a link) site that had very dark and extreme stories. I read two stories on there and they were way too much for me and I never went back.

During one of the big political pushes against porn online, the site was removed. I'm sure there are places for such stories, but I'm glad this site isn't one.
