Long drives home always kinda suck. I have a 30 min commute home and to work. I live out in the boonies so its relaxing, but sometimes I'm just exhausted and want to be home.
 
Mine is currently about 45 minutes or so. I vanpool so that helps.

I was working the day shift until about two months ago. I switched to the overnight shift for many reasons. One primary reason is that I just got so sick of the commute with traffic. Now I'm not stuck in rush-hour traffic, it's a straight shot home for me and I only have to drive about one day a week. It's also a 6 1/2 hour shift but we are payed for a full 8 hour shift which is pretty sweet.

I wish that I could work closer to home, but the reality is that wages are much lower where I live vs where I work. No way I could comfortably take the pay cut!

Too bad my 1.6 billion dollar early retirement plan didn't pan out...
 
Okay, so I reread this thread since the beginning of the day. There was some serious misunderstanding going on.

Whenever RDM97756 started talking about the conversations going into PMs, something weird happened. I got a PM from Belissa or whatever her name is basically asking what happened to this thread and it needs to be set back on track. She then added that I could consider her PM a "random PM."

I immediately forwarded that PM to Gracie. And then Gracie started making some comments publicly which appeared to be directed at RDM97756.

To be clear, Gracie's comments were directed at Belissa, not RDM97756. Out of context, it looks way worse than it really was.

Just wanted to clear the air on that. I was really confused today. But hopefully, it makes sense now.

It's a funny thing about the blues. I don't often choose to sit and listen to the blues. But, I went to see a friend of a friend play a gig last week, and in between the covers one is expected to play at the place he was at, he played some of his original stuff. He's very into the blues, so his originals were all blues, and quite good, I thought.

And now I'm listening to the link you posted, and I'm really digging it. I just don't know why I don't sit and binge on the blues like I do some other music.

When I don’t get enough sleep I get cranky.

And so I fell asleep as soon as I got home last night.
