Its literally what Fallout fans have been asking for years. I think the raise of MOBA's have pushed everything toward multiplayer.

Single player isn't dead, but I'm afraid it's terminal.

Your AV's great hon, no need to change :D

Admittedly, I'm not really the target market. Dudes pushing 40 that play maybe 4 hours a week...

If you're right, I'm definitely in the minority of what anyone would give a shit about when it comes to new games.

I'm cool with that, just disappointed that my single player Fallout goodness may have come to an end.

:(

You can still play it solo, just it has the multiplayer built into it also.

I hope the multiplayer will be a feature of most games in the future but not the entire thing. COD I blame you for this.

Dude, I am 100% with you. It's such a shame that 99% of gamers today have never touched Fallout 1 nor 2.

There is legit no NPCs in the game. Bethesda was amazing at one thing, and that was creating amazing side quests with interesting and sometime humorous stories. They've been doing it with both TES and Fallout (since 3 at least) for over 2 decades.

Without interesting NPCs, it's not a Bethesda game.

Fallout may not have originally been Bethesda, but I appreciate what they did with the IP. I mean, at least it didn't fall into the hands of EA or Ubisoft.

Thats true, but I think the premise of the game works. It's early fall, having too many NPC's would be boring. Could make for some fun RP as the sole explorer. I'm sure they will still provide you with interesting things in the waste to find.

Their engine is old and broken.

We literally can only play Fallout 4 because modders are fixing the bugs. Skyrim still needs mod support to patch the bugs.

You think Bethesda can create a solid online experience with their track record?

Hey, lets not get crazy here. It's gonna be buggy as hell! This is Bethesda were talking.

Even with the bugs, Fo4 and Skyrim are still great games, and still replayable today. Bethesdas willingness to support mods is what keeps them alive.

I don't think 76 will be the direction of the future, but I think it will be a good chance to explore new concepts.

Bingo! This kills the experience that I enjoy.

It's ok, I don't have much extra time to play games, it just means I'll look elsewhere.

Speaking of Skyrim mod support, did SSE 64bit ever get released?

Right, but they are single player experiences. They're so replayable because they're not multiplayer. But MP bugs are way more disastrous than SP bugs - CoD MW2, for example.

And Bethesda has stopped mod support................. if we want to be real about it. They update the Creation Club so often and it breaks the free mods every single time. That's why I don't play the Special Edition of Skyrim nor Fallout 4 anymore. Because I literally can't. The CC has busted those games.

Bethesda is not consumer friendly. They used to be. But now they've gone the way of EA and Ubisoft.

Yes, it's business. And it sucks.

Not that I know of, I think the mods vanished. It really sucks, but I might redownload the original and just mod the hell out of it again.

I wouldn't agree 100%, I think the games are just getting to the age that modders aren't pumping out content and updates to keep up with the CC. But PC is where the real mod community is. I hate using the CC on the PS4, would much rather use the Nexus on PC.

Indie PC games are where it's at. There are sooooo many, and many of them are short. So, good for your schedule.

Haha 274 games on Steam with 100% achievements in TW3, Fallout 4, Fallout NV, Skyrim, and Dark Souls III. lol

Lol I still haven't beat Skyrim or Fo4, I get distracted by mods easily. I'm not so much a completisionist than a RP'er. I've been playing a hunter character with survival mode. It's been a blast, only died of hypothermia a few dozen times.

Yeah the stories aren't that good. I just enjoy the side quests and random encounters. That's the only reason I play Bethesda games.

Why I love mods, let me explore the story as a part of it instead of a god that is thrust into it.

I mean yeah but it's been 7 years for Skyrim and 3 years for Fallout 4. I eventually beat them at some point. lol

I was one of the unlucky ones who bought Skyrim for $150 on release day for PS3 when the game was broken AF. I was so mad. I still have the dragon statue though. lol

haha as long as we can put up mirrors so we can watch :p

That can be arranged. ;)

That’s unfortunate. I want my damn heels to not clip through the ground or make my character’s legs look stumpy. :(

Oh you poor thing! :( *hugs*

I got it on 360, then Xbox One, then PC. Don’t judge. :p

You use a body slider mod I'm guessing? That's one I could never do, I enjoy the look of the world and want things to mess with it

Speaking of video games, there are strippers and prostitutes in GTA V. Just saying.

You know, actually they patched the adult sexual content out of the game in the most recent update. The ESRB claimed that the content was "dangerous" to any potential youth that got their hands of the game. They replaced the strip club with an arcade.

Really? I know a couple of people who will be disappointed to see that :D
