We should do a juan story challenge.:D Juan chance only!

There's an idea...

It's coming along nicely, it's likely to be comedy:

Juan was a practical rule-book Catholic, he went to church at lunch time, never masturbated into a condom, and had a rosary hanging from his rear view driving mirror to signal if he was driving erratically

A snippet from my "god only knows when" to be published novel.

Life will go back to normal until the day of the wedding. All the single cousins will have to hear “You’re next” Repeated over and over. We vow to one another that it won’t happen to us as if we are being held prisoner by a cult and brainwashed. This day will seem like it will never end after an extremely long ceremony, leading to picture taking then to the reception that eventually spills over into a party at the bride’s family home. The next day we try to survive the after wedding hangover.

This is reality in my family and in my world. Things like this never happen in romance novels. The heroine is always slim in the waist, large in the chest and empty in the head. The hero always has long hair, rippling muscles and is usually wealthy. They meet on some exotic location where they start out to hate one another until they keep bumping into each other in social circles.
She will see him as arrogant and insensitive. Secretly he rescues puppies and works part time, for free, at a local clinic. He will see her as hardheaded and emotionally unstable. Secretly she reads to blind veterans and is the head of the company he has been trying to win the corporate account for to become the top company in all the land. They are also interchangeable as pirates, physicians, professors, plantation owners and partisans. Any occupation that starts with a “P” will work well.
Even though they are people of high standards and extreme beauty they have flaws such as scars or eye patches. These are sexy. The characters in romance novels don’t fart or belch. They only vomit if she has a pregnancy scare which ends up being a flu she contracted from the island getaway. No one gets a runny nose or her period or dandruff. His balls never itch or need adjustment and there are no hemorrhoids
One of my goals is to write romance novels that are realistic. Couples will meet while working in a large retail store; they will be overweight or anorexic and drive old cars, some will have all of their teeth.
They will have bowling alley trysts and drink wine out of the big cartons. Rivals will fight for their mates at a Monster Truck rally and the heroine will wear her lovers NASCAR shirt to bed. He will kick the dog off the bed for a night of pleasure and get her a breakfast sandwich in the morning. They’ll honeymoon in Branson and wear matching shirts. Even though they are from different trailer parks they will find each other. Despite their families disapprovals they will venture forth.
My white trash novels will win the hearts of many and allow me to live in a doublewide trailer, my yard festooned with Pink Flamingos. We all have dreams.

What's anybody writing about?

How's it going?

I should be writing but my muse is off being silly.

I need inspiration.

So ... what are you writing, how's it going, you need a muse to write?

Here's a story: Leona Lewis "keep, keep bleeding"

Abstruse, where did your muse run off to? did she come up here looking for some hotpants and cocoa?

I've been poeming. A lot. It's nothing amazing, but it's words that have to be said out loud, and they've been flowing well. I'm hoping to finish quite a few poems in the following few days, that have been WIPS for weeks, and post them.

I love the flow. It's sublime. And I love closure. Eventhough I've picked up some adorable enemies over time. The anon feedback is enough to make anyone cringe, or laugh, depending on what space you're in. Yet, poetry is so incredibly personal, the trolls pick well when they decide to chew on that raw nerve.
