That got left behind in the * move out today or he is gonna kill me for real* stage of things. I have been sleeping on a sofa bed for 8 months... my back can not take much more. *sigh*

Ugh that sucks. Good luck finding a bed! Sometimes you can find super cheap, lightly used mattresses and frames on craigslist.

And along the same lines, I could really, really use a desk. When it comes to school work, nothing is more distracting to me than disorganization. Doing all my home work on my bed is so frustratingly cluttered!

I am sorry about that. If you were closer I would share mine, husband is banished out of it because of snoring anyway.

Funny thing, I started to talk about beds in that other thread and today my mother calls me to tell me she bought me a new bed since I am coming home soon and the old one "was not good enough anymore".
I swear I must be psychic or something

I have a bed but no frame from my move out. LOL. Could use a dresser though. lol, All my clothes are on a book shelf.

Some places offer a overstack mattresses pretty cheap. Just look around, I know you will find one.

I'm thinking maybe you don't need to worry about the bed frame so much as starting with a mattress? If that's true, I'm going to urge you NOT to go used on that. You can safely get a box spring and the box spring used...but not the mattress. If you pay attention to ads for sales you should be able to find a pretty good deal...especially on factory "seconds", which can mean something as minor as the tag being damaged and you buy it for a deep discount.

Good luck. That sucks.

Ok then, I am going to gag them so they cant complain and let you join in :rose:

Dont be lazy :p

We are lacking space though, I am afraid WriterDom might end on the floor now and then.... any objections girls?

How big is this bed anyway? I am pretty handy with knots so I could be a big help. Wicked laugh.

There are places that sell cheap mattresses. They might not be the best, but they'll get you through the now, until you can afford a quality mattress and money spent on a good mattress is worth every cent.

I am not sure if I could see through the fact that I am sleeping on a used mattress, though.

I think new is the way to go. I mean, even BJ's or Cosco sells inexpensive mattresses and from what I hear, they're not that bad quality wise.
