The Corporations pay to join it and they pay for each individual they send to it.
It can't make any decisions, only make it's findings known to the public.
As it's Corporation run and Corporation financed I can guess which slant any findings will take.
So far I've heard that they think Japan will not have any influence on world economic growth this year...
That some of them think the USA will not have any significant influence on world economic growth...
That the increased spending on defence in America will make it more difficult for Europe to catch up and keep up. This in turn will lead to any large future operations, like Afghanistan, looking as though they are run and implemented by America alone.
Not a wise thing for America politically...
That a large part of that defence budget spending will go to Boeing...
So as all these 'findings' are published as the Forum continues I suppose we all have to shrug our shoulders and forget it.
After all that's exactly what the Forum will be doing.
But at least they would have produced some impressive looking documents.
