The warmth really invades the glass in a way. That isn't the same with a plastic one. The outside gets superficially warmer. With the glass dildo, the whole thing takes in your heat differently.

Also, the shaping of the glass dildos (depending on which one you get) are a lot more, well sexually ergonomic (for lack of a better term).

They won't shatter like a water glass will, but they can break if you bang them on the concrete. The only ones I would use would be made of something like pyrex - I think I saw a show on tv once about them - they were made out of some kind of medical quality glass. They showed they could break, but wouldn't when used as designed. They also came in amazing shapes - but they weren't cheap.
