So What's Pending?

Got to thinking...I know I should be careful I'm going to break something doing that, it might be nice if we could do a bit of pre-advertisement for our up coming stories. Kind of a "Keep your eye out, this will be popping up in a day or so" kind of thing.

Figured that way if we have a favorite author we might know to be on the look out for what they are putting on site. Not really the stories you might write one day, but the ones you've already have submitted and are waiting on.

So what's pending?

I've got a Sci-fi story in Non-Con I just submitted. It read a bit too rough to place it in Sci-fi. Figured it might get a better showing in Non-Con. It's called the "Asteroid Miner's Daughter". I hope it's enjoyable.

Tomorrow night I plan on submitting a group story called simply "Missy Pays the rent"

The title pretty much says it all, the cute niece of tenants who are behind on their rent and facing eviction, finds out the landlords occasionally indulge in some "female company" and offers to work something out with the rent.

It was easy and a lot of fun to write. I like doing these in between longer more involved story lines.

Right now I'm just working on my Halloween Contest Entry. I think the best genre for it would actually be encyclopedia, but I'll probably end up putting it in NonHuman. It's probably my strangest entry to Literotica yet.

I have about half a dozen stories either half-finished or I have an idea but haven't really started writing them yet. I'm working for now on my Halloween entry, which will likely go in Science Fiction (coincidentally, the only category in which I've ever placed in a contest; but that's not why I chose it. I just go where the muse leads me!) If I have time, I have an idea for a second Halloween story.

I also have two Christmas-contest stories in the works, one of which did not start out as such, but the setting proved perfect for that contest. And, if I have time, another romance, another chapter in my latest serial, another straight up EC story, and on and on...

Pending? There is not enough room to list all of them. :D

Three folders of about a hundred stories each.

Almost green with envy.
However, I actually do have a short funny in the hands of an editor/reviewer.
It's about administrations cock-ups and an Angel.
Sadly, it's non-erotic.

Taking on two at a time

I'm pressing ahead with my Halloween contest entry. I was struggling with how to blend creepy with erotic. I decided to try listening to some classic Halloween music, and - bingo! I think I've got it.

I'm also finishing up a silly little incest thing that was inspired by some nonsense here on this board.

My Halloween story is written but not edited. I'll be working on it this week so I can post it later in the week.

Yea if we list every story we're working on, or have written but not posted yet It would take up pages worth for each author. That was kind of why i asked what's Pending.

Three folders? I can't top that, but I do have probably a dozen sitting in first draft. The longest is my Novella 'No shit there I was." it's a week in the life of an SCA merchant at Gulf wars.

When will it see the site? When i'm happy with it.

Three folders? I've got to get to writing more.

Those three folders don't include a completed novel of over 200,000 words and three partially finished ones totaling another 200,000 words. Plus three 50,000+ word NaNo novels. :D

So get to writing. I'll will you what's left unfinished when I die. ;)

I just submitted "Psychology of a Groupie." I had intended for it to be sort of throw away, kind of for practice. It's a lot more of a stroker, more sex and less plot than my last story. But I still hope people like it.

Strokers have their place here at Lit.

Do you really think most people read here for the plot? :D

Probably not, but I know some actually prefer a plot. Even though this one is less so it still ended up with more plot that I had originally envisioned when I started writing it. I'm just glad to have this one out of my system so I can focus on my contest entry, I'm about half way done with that.

Well "Asteroid miner's daughter" just went from blue pending to black so it should be on site when I wake up in the morning to go to work. That's if it doesn't get rejected.

My contest story is ready will submit it at the end of the week.

Done enough for one night.

My last chapter of The Designer is simmering waiting for approval.

It's also my last story posting here at Lit. I started writing it a couple months back, and have been encouraged by the feedback. I appreciate the threads here in the AH that talk about the craft of writing and I've learned a lot from all of you.

A personal choice, for me, writing erotica becomes a sticky wicket for many reasons. So I'm going to concentrate on writing more mainstream topics, and see how I feel about continuing to write.

Thanks for the opportunity to share my musings.

I'm glad to hear the last installment is coming out Hank. Too bad it may be your last. I really enjoyed "The Designer."

just posted a little romance teaser story called 'A Ruined life.'

Part two will be where things get hot and heavy. Still if you like a story this one is a good read.
